I fell in love with you in less than two months.
i knew from the moment i went up to you, told you my mom and you told me that you didn't care, that it was you, the one i'd fall in love with and spend all my favorite moments with. even with people telling me you were a bad influence, or i shouldn't be spending time with you because of the life style you have, i enjoyed your company the most. in the past months, i've lost friends and went through things that made me question myself, but there wasn't a moment when you wasn't by my side, comforting me and being everything i needed you to be. sometimes i feel like i can't put our relationship into words, i can't explain that we just go together. we have different interests, we're opposites, different lifestyles, but somehow our relationship is still the only vision i have of true love. i feel safe when i'm with you, comfortable and warm. the way you make sure to protect me, the best you can from the world, is only one of the reason i fell in love you. there are so many more that i could think of, and spend an hour writing about, but it's the simple things that i love the lost. you hugging me or giving me a kiss after i had the worst day ever, bringing a smile on my face when i didn't think it would be possible, taking pictures with me, our matching pajamas, the movies we watch with fez, or alone. before we started dating i didn't think we'd make it to this point, just because we were so different, but now, our two months is in a couple days and i've realized that maybe it is our opposites that keep us together, make the relationship better. i'm more than glad i got to spend the last two months loving you.- valerie.
ashtray stared at the letter in his hands, two days later, and home. valerie's neat hand writing and all the things she had wrote, that he just read, brought a light pink shade to his face.
he caught himself blushing and sat the letter down, running his hand down his face.
he didn't know what to say or do now, but reading that letter made him want to see valerie, even though he had seen her the day before. fezco was sleeping, though. due to it being midnight, but ashtray got up anyway, throwing on a hoodie and keeping on the pants he had before. he quickly put on his shoes, and went out the door that was in his room, leading into the alley way.
ashtray knew it was dangerous for him to be out, alone, walking and in the dark, but he felt like seeing valerie, and was exactly what he was going to do.
he made sure to be aware of his surroundings, the best he could, due to it being dark and his vision not being the best. he walked at a fast pace, and since valerie's house wasn't too far from his, he got there in less than ten minutes.
he felt like some sort of stalker, walking around her house to her bedroom window, that caused him to shake his head, but nonetheless he continued walking until he reached it. her curtains were closed, but he saw a light on so he hoped she was awake.
valerie sat on her bed rewatching on my block for the third time, and jumped when she heard three small knocks on her window. she froze, though already being sat she probably looked stupid.
she grabbed onto her phone, that being the only next to her at the moment and she felt comfortable with it in her hands. she slowly walked up to her window, taking a deep breath before moving her curtains the slightest bit. she hoped it was just an animal or something, but when she saw a figure she let out a yell, louder than she meant to.
noticing the familiar buzz cut, her heartbeat slowed and she realized. "jesus fucking christ, what are you doing?!" she asked, moving her curtains completely and opening her window.
he chuckled, he opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by the sound of footsteps and a light voice. "valerie? are you okay?"
valerie panicked, putting up a finger to ashtray to let him know she'd be back over to her window, closing her curtains and plopping down on her bed.
she watched as her door opened and her mom stuck her head in, her eyebrows furrowed in slight panic. "what are you doing, are you okay?"
valerie gave her a tight lipped smile, nodding. "yeah, i opened my window and saw a spider, ya know..."
her mouth stared at her for a second, glancing over at her window, the curtains moved a little due to the window being open still. she let out a breath, "you need to get some sleep."
valerie nodded, "i will."
her mom nodded, closing her door. valerie waited a minute before walking back over to her window, she pulled her curtains back to see ashtray leaning against the wall, impatient.
"this is some movie shit." valerie mumbled, shaking her head. ashtray moved back, "come on, let's go somewhere."
her eyebrows furrowed, she was always the one to pull him out of the house with a plan to go somewhere, never him. "what?"
he huffed, "come on." he grabbed her wrist, making her almost hit her head on the wall.
"wait, i have to get a jacket." she pulled her wrist out of his grip, going to her closet to grab her nearest hoodie, throwing it on and then sliding on her black crocks, putting her phone in the pocket of her sweatpants and then walking back over to the window.
she glanced at the window and then back to her room door, she sighed, praying her mom wouldn't walk back in her room and then slowly stuck one of her legs out of the window, getting help from ashtray, he grabbed onto her waist and pulled her down, waiting as she closed her window back half way, and then they both quickly walked off.
"where are we going?" valerie asked him, walking closely next to him due to it being midnight and her fear of outside when it was late.
ashtray didn't answer for a couple seconds, not knowing himself, but once they reached the side walk of her street, he looked back and forth at the two directions they could go, and finally paused when he saw the bright sign of dennys.
"dennys." he told her, pulling her sleeve to turn her and he walked in the direction of the building.
valerie nodded, "you know, if you were hungry you could've just ate something at home, or door dashed.."
ashtray turned to her with a mug, "i wanted to see you, idiot."
at first, valerie began to say some kind of remark, before she realized what he said and a smile went to her face. "that's cute, softie." she teased, pinching his arm through his hoodie.
he moved his arm, shooing her hand as she chuckled, linking their arms.
