(Cedar's Pov)
Through the rest of the day I don't see or hear from Heeseung making me feel sad and a little lonely. By the end of the day I get out of class and head for Heeseung's locker only to pause when I see him talking to a very pretty girl. Frowning slightly I cautiously approach them. "Um Heeseung?" His smile fades and he turns to me with a slight frown. "What do you want Cedar?" My frown deepens and I shift anxiously. "Um you said you were going to walk me home after school." He goes to say something when the girl practically clings to his side whining and pouting. "But oppa you promised you'd show me around the town." His gaze immediately goes back to the girl a dazed grin appearing on his face. "Oh right. Let's go." I immediately feel a little upset and hurt. "But Heeseung....." before he can say anything the girl gives me a fake smile. "Oh you don't mind right? Of course you don't. Thanks." Before I can even protest they're gone and my lip trembles it feeling like my heart is hurting. I then kick the locker in frustration and hurt then turn to leave when someone calls my name I turning around and watch the person jog over in surprise. "Jakob! Hey what are you still doing here?" He gives me a smile. "I was helping out a teacher. What are you doing here still?" I immediately frown. "Heeseung was supposed to walk me home but instead chose to show a new girl around town." He immediately gives me a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry. You want me to walk you home?" I look at him in surprise. "Oh. If you don't mind." He gives me a cute smile. "Of course not. Let's go." I smile and as we walk we get to know each other. Like I found out he's a banshee and we both got past our awkwardness when he revealed to me that he's completely straight. Smiling and laughing I stop when I get to my house and give him a wave goodbye. "See you tomorrow Jakob!" He smiles before turning to leave and I enter the house my mom giving me a curious look. "What happened to Heeseung?" I immediately frown and feel my heart hurt again. "A new girl showed up and now he won't talk to me." She immediately frowns then opens her arms up to me. "Oh sweetie. Come here." I immediately run into my moms arms and cling to her starting to cry. She rubs my back comfortingly and tells me reassuring things. "If he chooses some girl over a great person like you then you deserve better." I sniffle pitifully and she smiles softly at me. "Go on up to bed and rest. I'll bring you some tea later." I nod and let go dragging myself up to my room where I crawl into bed and lay there for a minute before falling asleep.
