Ch 15

(Cedar's Pov)

By the end of the school day me and Jakob head out of the classroom and to our lockers where I immediately find a note on mine. Frowning I read it over it telling me to go behind the school. Sighing I immediately crumple it up and throw it away only for Jakob to stare at me. "What?" He raises an eyebrow at me. "I know you wanna go. Go ahead or you'll regret it." I go to protest but see his stern look and I sigh before grabbing my backpack and head outside before walking towards the back of the school. Once I turn the corner I immediately stop in my tracks and look on in shock as I see a giant garden filled with different flowers and plants. Hearing someone clear their throat I turn my head and am surprised to see Heeseung standing there. He shifts his feet a little anxiously before speaking up. "Please let me explain and if you still hate me afterwards I'll leave you alone." I hesitate before sighing and nod. "Fine go ahead." He smiles and then immediately starts babbling. "I'm so sorry I hurt you I didn't mean to. The new girl somehow took an interest in me and put me underneath this loopy spell and I didn't have control over my mind. I didn't want to hurt you I promise I didn't and I'll do anything to make it up to you. Especially because.... Well because your my mate and I love you so much but I know I don't deserve you. But I'm going to try and win you over. Starting with this garden. I asked and the school said that you can have full ownership and care over it." I stay silent for awhile processing everything and he starts to fidget anxiously. "Please say something." I immediately let my legs move me forward until I'm in front of him and slowly raise my hand up. I watch as he flinches and closes his eyes as I bring my hand closer until I gently rest it on his face and gently pull him down to my level and lean up bringing him into a soft kiss. He makes a noise of surprise but soon kisses back and I immediately melt feeling like I'm where I'm supposed to be. We eventually pull apart and I smile up at him shyly he smiling back at me before bringing me into a hug and nuzzles against my neck sighing. "This might sound weird but I miss your smell. That girl smelled funny and it wasn't a good kind of funny." I chuckle a little and slowly pull away. "Oh yeah? What do I smell like?" He immediately grins at me. "Cherries." I smile back and cling to him starting to feel tired when I'm suddenly scooped up bridal style and next thing I know there's a pop and I'm gently placed on a bed with Heeseung's lips kissing my forehead. I let out a contented sigh as I start to fall asleep immediately muttering out a half asleep "I love you."
