Welcome to Gravity Falls, Doctor!

Chapter 1

      Doctor's pov~The Tardis was taking me to an alternate universe! I had to hold on tighter than usual, because Tardis was shaking more than regular. I suppose going through a rip in space and time can do that do a Tardis!

  Sonic bubbles started to surround the interior and exterior of the Tardis, preparing her to land in an alternate universe. The whirring of the engines slowed to a stop, and I was faced with the task of popping the uneccessary remaining bubbles until I was able to get outside. The Tardis had locked the door, making sure I couldn't get out until I did my chore. I wanted to just sit inside the Tardis and wait for her to realize I wasn't going to go on an adventure, but the she forced a sonic wave to push me out the door.

 Then, being her stubborn self, she dissapeared. I tried to get inside before the Tardis dematerialized completely, but she locked the doors! Tardis, come back!

  Finally coming to a consensus with my new surroundings, I decided to figure out where I was. Luckily, I was right by a rickety  sign that proudly stated "Welcome To Gravity Falls"  I then decided to head into town, since it was the  best place to go to anyway. Funny thing about the name though... Quite the oxymoron!

  Dipper's pov~Mabel was home! Time to go on a mystery hunt, I thought. "Hey Mabel, want to go on  a mystery hunt?" I asked, hopeful she would say yes. She gave me a smile I knew meant yes, so I threw on my sneakers and headed out the rickety door of the shack.

"So, what are we hunting for today?" Mabel asked me."Aliens," I reply seriously. "Oooeeeooooo!" She sings at me, and then goes "boop boop boop". I just shake my head in reply, and we continue on our way to hunt in the forest for aliens. (Or alien spaceships, for that matter)

"Hey, so you know how Pacifica is our friend now?" Mabel questions."Yeah, so?" I ask her.  "Do you think she could go on mystery hunts now?"

I suck in air through my teeth, "I don't know Mabel, she may not even-" Then Mabel  gives me the look. You know, the look siblings give you to make you do whatever they want? Yeah, well Mabel used it. "Alright, I give in Mabel, I give in!" She instantly contorted into pure joy, and pulled me toward a path to Pacifica's house.

 When we got there, the gate was closed, and Mabel pushed a button to ask  for Pacifica. "Hey, is Pacifica there?" I ask, and the butler replies, "No, miss Pacifica is being punished for her horrid rebellious deed at the manor party," Then in a more hushed tone he says "Miss Pacifica is grounded, but I believe I may have accidently let her escape her confines, Mr.Pines" At this I smiled, the butler was a nice guy. And I suppose Pacifica is nice too, now. Hey, well, another ally to the mystery team.

 The only problem is that we'd have to find her, since the butler "accidently let her escape her confines" She could be anywhere in town, so I suppose we'd have to find her later.

 I'd wanted to head back down the path to the forest, but Mabel started pulling me toward town to find Pacifica. I just relented, because making Mabel sad was not on my to-do-list today. The guilt was unbearable if you made Mabel sad, even Grunkle Stan cracked under the pressure! He punched a dinosaur in the face for her...  So we continued on into the town, passing a multitude of residents. But then, we saw someone we didn't recognize!

Doctor's pov ~ I love this town! All the residents seemed quite queer, and it the town itself had a charming air of the supernatural. Surely their were plenty of secrets hiding in this sleepy little town for me to unveil. The only problem was I didn't know what year it was here, or what rules or laws they had in this alternate universe. But that can be expected, time travel is always about expecting the unexpected.

 As I walked through the town, I inspected the area. The cops are eating doughnuts!  That is hilarious! Humans, always living out their own cliche's. "Who are you? I'm Mabel, and this is my cuckoo brother Dipper!" A young girl wearing a sweater asked me. The young boy beside, whom looked exactly like her, with the exception of being a boy. "Well, Mabel- I'm the Doctor and I'm looking for aliens. Is your brother really cuckoo? Because I've been told I'm a madman with a box!" Then Dipper piped up (could that be his real name?) " Where's the box then? And by the way, I'm not crazy. "  I then told him,"My box dissapeared, she insists that I must stop feeling bad, so she dropped me here and dematerialized." They both then looked at me like I was truly a mad man without a box. "Well then!" I say, "I'll be on my way then," and started off on my way.  "WAIT! Are you with the government?" Dipper asks. "No, why would I be? I'm just looking for strange things in a strange town," I reply.

 The twins share a look. Then Mabel, the girl piped up. "We're looking for aliens too , because Dipper didn't want to go after werewolves today!" Well, why not help them? They were already successful, even though they didn't know it. They had found me after all. I just hoped with both of my hearts that neither of them got hurt. "Well, did you want to work together?" I ask. Dipper looks unsure, but Mabel jumps in. "Sure! We can use all the help we can get, Wendy and Soos are busy," I didn't know who Soos and Wendy were, but I guess they were the ones helped these twins figure out the mysteries of this town.

 "So, where are we going first ?" I ask the twins. Dipper speaks, "We'll be going through the forest be the watertower, because that's where a spaceship was last seen," Alrighty then! I've officialy got an adventure, and a pair of mystery twins!
