ur dad nodded closing the door again and elaine rolled over opening and rubbing her eyes
elaine-was that nurse rory?
xaiver-no no it was nobody just go back to sleep ellie
she smiled glancing up to you

she said touching it and you giggled

she nodded holding her hand up to you and you giggled giving her a high five

she asked excitedly

you left the room and reached the hallway where everybody sat

he glanced over to teddy and ur stepmom leaving them and walking over to you
ur dad-something wrong? i thought you went to get food?
he lied following you out the hallway

you-she saw my ring and i told her you gave it me, and then she spoke about how if she remembers people and things she gets to go home and i'd love nothing more than for her to get out of this hospital so please just talk to her
you practically begged him and he smiled
ur dad-little elaine, is she the one with the long brown hair who i babysat when you went out for dinner with xaiver?
you nodded opening the door

she said happily giving you both a wave

he smiled taking a seat on the other side of the bed
elaine-fauna says ur her daddy and ur called taylor!
she smiled and he nodded glancing down to her wrist where a pretty handmade bracelet lay
ur dad-we made those
he smiled pointing to it
elaine-we did?
she asked clearly not remembering
ur dad-xaiver was all dressed up in a blue tux and my beautiful daughter faun wore a white dress. they went out for dinner and i had to watch you, do you remember that night?
she shook her head no
ur dad-what about when we walked around my castle, my big big house with the white floors
he smiled letting her touching his hand
elaine-was the kitchen blue?
he nodded
ur dad-yeah, you wanted to make cookies but instead we made some bracelets on the counter
who knew my dad was so sweet to her. i had no idea he did that with her.
elaine-oh yeah, i made one for xaivy do you still have it?
she smiled and so did he
ur dad-im sure i have it somewhere, maybe when you get out of this horrible little bed we can go back to my castle and find it yeah?
she nodded
elaine-yeah and we can make more, one for fauna and you taylor!!
she said excited and you smiled glad that she was picking all of this up so quickly
doctor-i think ur ready to go home ellie
the doctor said stood beside the now open door clearly hearing everything
elaine-nurse roryy, do i get my cake today?
doctor-noo, today ur going home but first i wanna ask you some questions
elaine-okay
she nodded letting the nurse sit on her bed
doctor-whats my name?
she asked
elaine-rory, nurse rory
she smiled
doctor-good and who is this?
she asked pointing to xaiver
elaine-thats xaiver my favourite person in the world!
xaiver smiled letting you lie against his chest
doctor-goodd and what did you have for lunch today?
elaine-i had carrot sticks with a sandwich and some mini cheese slices
she smiled
doctor-okay and where do you live?
elaine-we are in the middle, by my favourite park called rentro park
she said happily
doctor-good girl and what's ur name?
elaine-im elaine and im 5 years old

she asked him and they both rose leaving the room

i didn't know he was like this.
when i was a child it was always up and down with my parents so i never got bonding time with either of them, it's just a shock
but im glad his opinions have changed.
