Chapter 7

After Aether made some Almond Tofu from the Wangshu's kitchen, he handed over the Almond Tofu to Xiao. "Give it a try?" Aether said with a small smile. After a moment, Xiao used a spoon to take a bite from the Almond Tofu. Suddenly, his eyes widened. He took another bite again and again until he finished the Almond Tofu.

It was really tasty. The mild sweetness of Almond Tofu is a perfect fit for Xiao's appetite. In another words, Aether's Almond Tofu is ten times better than Yanxiao's. Both are good. But if you ask Xiao which one is better, he would choose Aether for sure.

(A/N: Sorry I don't know how to describe what Almond Tofu taste like😂 I never eat it before in my whole life)

"Hmm, not bad." Xiao said.

"I'm so glad that you like it!" Aether said with a cute, soft smile. Suddenly, Xiao have a mixed feelings towards Aether's smile. The feelings is slowly heating up his face, and soon become like a red tomato. "Xiao? Are you alright?? Your face suddenly become so red!" Aether soon noticed his face. He fear that he might have added something into the Almond Tofu which make Xiao become so red.

When Aether is about to touch Xiao's forehead(he just want to make sure that Xiao have fever or not), Xiao slap away his hand. "Xiao?" Aether said with a concerned look.

"I- I'm fine! I will be leaving now as I promised that I will help you to do commissions. So, see you later!" After Xiao finished talking with Aether, he whispered something to Paimon before leaving.

"But Xiao-"

When Aether is about to finish his sentence, Xiao suddenly disappeared right in front of him along with Paimon.

"Xiao?! Paimon?!"

In the other side, a place near Nantianmen where Xiao and Paimon teleport to. "Nantianmen is quite far away from Wangshu Inn, he won't find me here, probably." Xiao said while sitting on a big stone. "What's wrong with you? I have sense something weird between both of you earlier. And why did you asked me to teleport here?" Paimon asked Xiao while crossing her arms.

"I...I don't know. I felt something weird after I saw his smile. My heart felt...weird. I- I don't know how to describe that feeling." Xiao replied while looking down.

'He felt something weird after he saw Traveler's smile? Why is this sound familiar to me? Hmm...Ah! I remember it! It was from a romance novel. A romance novel written by Yae Miko which mentions that people will feel heart races when they fall in love with someone!' Paimon thought.

"-mon."

"Paimon!"

"W-what?" Paimon finally snap back to reality after Xiao shouted out her name.

"I have been calling you a few times, why didn't you answer me?"

"Oh... I'm sorry, Paimon just had some thoughts."

"...It's fine."

"..."

"..."

"Xiao, are you...trying to hide away from traveler?" Paimon asked.

"No! I'm not-" Xiao was about to finish his sentence but he suddenly stay silent. He pressed his lips into a thin line as he realized that he might wanted to hide away from traveler but he don't know the reason.

"It's okay. We can catch up that later. Now we need to do the daily commissions. Let's go." Says Paimon.
"But where should I get the commissions?" Xiao asked. "We can find Katheryne in Liyue Harbor. She is the receptionist of Adventures Guild." Paimon replied. "Liyue Harbor? I can't go to that place. I fear that traveler will find us there..." Xiao said. "Oh I see. I'm sure you never leave Liyue, right? So let's teleport to Mondstadt. There's another Katheryne in there." Paimon said.

"Another Katheryne?"

"Yeah. There's one Katheryne in each region. That might sounds weird to you since Katheryne is a robot, I guess so."

"Oh, that makes sense."
