"Con, you've got to study," she said looking over at her boyfriend who was lying on the couch wanting to sleep. "Conrad, I'm serious, you know what these tests mean," she didn't have to remind him of the importance these tests held over them. She sighed before trying with a different tactic, "Babe, if you study I'll get you a cheese burger." With that Conrad shot up to be sitting at one of the stools on the island counter, she laughed slightly at his childish nature. "Do I get anything else?" he asked. "Don't push your luck, mister. You haven't even opened a textbook yet." He laughed slightly but nodded in agreement. "Okay, okay, I'll study," he caved and she nodded in approval.

She helped him by testing him and organising and collecting notes on certain topics. She had sat on the sofa as he sat at the kitchen counter, asking him questions every five minutes to see how well he was improving. At the start, it had been frustrating as he kept getting them wrong or not close enough, but he saw his improvement and by the end he was thankful for her help. Now, ten minutes had passed without her not so sporadic questioning. He decided that maybe that meant she was letting him take a break. So he went to sit next to her for a bit only to find her fast asleep on the sofa, curled up next to the open book she was using to quiz him. He chuckled slightly and then moved some of her hair out of her face and laying a blanket on her. He similed at the sight of the girl he loved so peaceful. Conrad then returned to him seat in the kitchen, taking a cheese burger and going back to studying.
