I watched as the human nodded off and then I got up and put my phone back in my quills.
It was time to see if they had any of the good stuff.
I didn't usually drink but after what had happened I needed one.
I quietly went into the kitchen and checked everywhere.
Nothing.
I sighed.
Guess it was time to go find some.
I went to go switch my suit from the washer to the dryer before looking at my wet boots.
Groan.
Maddie appeared to be washing everything I owned.
Fine.
I wasn't going outside fully nude and so I went back to the couch curled up and went to sleep.
I woke up to the smell of breakfast.
"Scourge.." I yawned as I forgot where I was.
"Nope. Maddie. Who's Scourge?" Maddie asked me.
I opened my eyes and looked into the kitchen where a dark skinned woman was staring at me curiously.
"Scourge is my husband. I'm 36." I told her.
"So you're an adult?" Maddie asked me.
I nodded.
I then walked into the kitchen.
"So. Last question. Is there a reason why all our things were moved last night?" Maddie asked me.
I scratched my neck nervously.
"Errr no." I answered.
Maddie gave me the 'mom' eyes.
I sighed.
"I might have been on the hunt for alcohol. I don't normally drink but yesterday was miserable." I grumbled.
"Are you hurting?" Maddie asked suddenly concerned.
"Not physically. No. I just haven't really been seperated from my husband in years. Not to mention. I have no idea where I am. My phone is broken. Therefore I have no way to figure out where I am or contact my husband. It's just this whole thing and it has me depressed." I explained.
Maddie nodded.
Which was when the Sonic of this world zoomed in with his two friends.
"HUAHHH! YOUR UP!" Sonic gasped and his tail wagged.
I stared at him.
"I'M SONIC!" Sonic said loudly.
I snorted.
"Zonic. Zonic the zone cop." I told him.
"Zonic! Wanna race?" Sonic asked enthusiastically.
"Afraid not. My arthritis would kill me." I chuckled.
"Arthritis?" Sonic said in confusion.
"You have arthritis?" Maddie asked me.
I nodded.
"Being the elite zone cop ain't easy." I chuckled.
"When did you get it?" Maddie asked me looking worried.
"When I turned 20 I caught it." I told Maddie.
Maddie nodded.
"What's Arthritis?" Sonic asked.
"It means I can't go fast unless I want the joints in my legs to scream at me." I chuckled.
"Is it fixable?" Sonic asked.
