I released a loud sound of protest as Scourge took me away.
"Oh shut it you big baby." Scourge snorted.
We then came to a stop at Dairy Queen and Scourge put me down.
"Alright kid. I'm getting a double patty cheeseburger with a large coca cola and then ice cream." Scourge told me.
I nodded.
"I will have a chilli cheese dog with onion rings on the side and sprite and then icecream." I told Scourge.
Scourge nodded and went inside. I followed him and we went to the cash register.
"Hey! I want one Double with cheese and fries on the side of that. I also want a Chilli cheese dog with onion rings on the side with two large coca colas." Scourge ordered.
The man at the register stared at Scourge for a moment and then nodded.
"Want any icecream with that?" The man asked.
"Eh. I'll come back and order that. Also here's the money. Keep the change." Scourge told the man while handing him a twenty and a ten.
The man nodded and put it in the register.
"That all?" The man said.
"Yep." Scourge said before walking towards a booth in the back and sitting down.
I sat on the other side.
For a moment there was silence and then Scourge sighed.
"Alright kid. I'm not gonna lie or sugarcoat or do any of that shit. So before we start is there anything you just have to know right now?" Scourge asked me.
I just stared at him.
There was alot of things I wanted to know.
"Nothin? Alright then let me start my life story okay? No interruptions. If you have to ask a question just tap me." Scourge told me.
I nodded.
"My name is Scourge The Hedgehog. Now. My life is an epic piece of shit in the beginning. I had a neglectful dad. Went evil. Had a girlfriend named Fiona for like. A little while. Then I got caught by the police." Scourge said.
The man interrupted by calling Scourge's name.
"Ah! Food! Be right back." Scourge told me as he left to get the food.
I was silent.
Scourge was evil?
He didn't seem too bad though..
I needed to let him finish his story.
Scourge came back and we ate together.
We both devoured our meals.
"Alright. Now while we wait for room for icecream. Where was I?" Scourge asked me.
"You just got caught by the police." I told him.
"Oh yeah! So Zonic caught me. Back then I had no idea he was a she and we despised each other so... I was a douche bag. I mean I was a douche bag back then anyways because ya know. I was evil but man was I a prick! Anyways going off the rails here so Zonic caught me and I went to jail. I was bullied at every turn because I was a asshole and they shaved my quills." Scourge said and I tapped his nose.
"Hmm?" Scourge said questioningly.
"Why would they shave your quills! Thats like! Our only defense!" I yelped.
"Zonnie agrees. They do it so we can't spin dash out of our cells or anything like that though." Scourge explained.
I frowned. I didn't like that explanation.
"Okay go on with the main story." I told him anyways.
"Well like I was saying. Zonic started feeling bad for me so we started spending more time together. She'd be the only one who cleaned my wounds when I got hurt and she took care of me. I fell in love and when I got out of there due to a power outtage. You can bet your ass that I took Zonic with me. I didn't want her to stay. She was to pure for that place. I showed her the true meaning of love after we got out and she fell for me too." Scourge said before pausing.
I frowned.
"This is where things get complicated isn't it?" I asked.
Scourge nodded.
"I'll get the icecream. Hand me a ten. What do you want?" I asked him.
"Chocolate chip cookie dough." Scourge told me.
I nodded before walking up to the man at the register.
"One Choco brownie Supreme and a Chocolate chip cookie dough please." I asked him.
He nodded and I gave him the ten.
"Keep the change." I told him before walking back to the table where Scourge was waiting for me.
"Alright. So. Continuing on?" Scourge asked me.
I nodded.
Wherever this story headed now was going to leave me at a life changing decision. I just knew it.
"Well. Zonic falls in love with me and admits that she's a girl. I'm surprised at first but I tell her that It ain't nothing to be ashamed of. I mean I'm different from the norm aswell. I'm evil and my colors are wrong not to mention my scar. Although that's not the real point. Real point is is that a month after I found out I accidentally got her pregnant. Due to my bad home life I ain't ever wanted kids. I mean I was excited but. We were kinda on the run from both the Zone cops and Nega." Scourge said honestly.
I tapped his nose.
He raised a brow.
"Why is this Nega after you? I understand the zone cops but why Nega?" I asked.
"Ah that one's easy! I got the power of the master emerald partially inside of me and I own three now two chaos emeralds." Scourge told me and I nodded.
"Which reminds me. This whole time during our love story we were on the run from Nega and the Zone cops and still are. Which leads us to the pregnancy." Scourge sighed.
I paid full attention now.
"We were on Mobius when our son was born. Didn't get the chance to name him at first because the fucking Zone cops and their timing. I chaos controlled me Zonic and our new son to a different Mobius. Using up all my energy and I went to sleep for a few days and when I woke up Mephiles also known as fuckface had found me and Zonic. He told us that the Sonic where we were had died of birthing complications and asked us what we wanted to do. I wanted to raise my son because I wasn't about to become my lame ass dad. I then told Mephiles to fuck all the way off and tell other Mobius that their king was going to be a full time parent for awhile." Scourge said before chuckling.
"Mephiles wasn't really happy about that and we had a small spat and he left. I then looked at my wife and my son and I asked if Zonnie had named the baby boy yet. She said no and so I named him Aster. For two weeks I raised you with all the love I had to give and then Nega finally found us and so I brought him on a wild chase. I was caught a year and a half later and Zonnie had to come save my ass. I wanted to go back to you but it was too dangerous and so I had to leave ya. I always loved you though. I hope I ain't as big of a failure as I feel." Scourge told me sadly.
I didn't say a word. My icecream was gone and I felt. Conflicted.
"How about this. I'll stay here for three days and we can have fun and then see where you stand eh? Nega probably thinks that Zonnie is dead since the blaster hit him dead on and well. Is too scared to come after me because of what happened after that. I mean. I thought Zonnie was dead until I realized that I couldn't find a body or ashes." Scourge told me.
I found myself nodding and then we left the Dairy Queen together in silence.
