I saw Mead turn so that the gun was facing Mina and I started panicking. I know Mina told me to be quiet but I couldn't help it right now.

Y/N: What the hell is going on?
WV: y/n I got this. Stop playing games Ms.Mead
MM: I- it's like I cant control my body I swear!
Y/n: Bullshit!

Mina gave me a look and I knew I was testing the limits. So I decided to remain quiet and let her handle it, she was better in these situations anyway.

ML: Far from it. I told you not to do it. Mead...

He turned to her and I don't know how much time passed but it felt like everything was going in slow motion. One moment we were all standing there and the next Mina was laying on top of me gasping for air.

When I looked up Michael and Mead were already gone. I screamed for help but I secretly knew it was never going to come. "Baby" I whispered.

Venable's pov

We were standing there, I was trying to diffuse the conflict. I didn't have much experience in that area but I could tell it was escalating quickly. I need to think. Fast. Just as I was about to speak I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

It was like it was on fire, it spread everywhere until I hit the floor. Everything sounded muffled and I was struggling to keep my eyes opened. It finally hit me what happened, I was shot. By Miriam.

What was going on? I opened my eyes as wide as I could to see y/n crying over me. I weakly smiled, I still wanted to be strong for her. The pain was slowly starting to dull, I could hardly feel it anymore.

I knew what was coming. I needed to tell her before I went away forever. "Y/n" i said choked out, "shhh don't try to speak i-it'll make it come faster" she sobbed. I hated seeing her cry, I always have. "I-I have to say this" I said, my throat felt so dry but I could also feel something coming up.

Must be blood. I have to make this quick. "I h-have to t-thank you... for teaching m-me what love is" I swallowed to keep the blood from coming up. I could taste it now, I licked my dry lips before continuing.

"Y-you are the l-love of my life" it was becoming increasingly harder to breathe but I needed to finish. "Mina..." she whispered, I mustered all my strength left to shake my head.

"You m-made this life w-worth living and I want you t-to remember I'll always be here" I said lifting up my hand and resting it over her heart. She cried even harder, "I love you so much Mina, please don't leave me" she sobbed.

"I want you here. Really here, please" I hated that it had to be like this. "We w-will meet a-again little one" I knew she loved it when I called her that. She smiled and I could see her holding back more tears. We stayed like that, for I don't know how long but I could feel my eyes getting heavy.

She knew it was coming to "let go... it's ok" she she whispered, and then everything went black.
