It was like my parents had walked in on me having sex.

Let me paint the picture, Brad and I were chilling at my place. He noted the heated pool and suggested we take a swim, he stripped to his undies and I did the same. We hopped in, splashed around a bit until he finally, after a million "accidental" brushes of our bodies on my part, pulled me to him and kissed me. We made out for a bit and it was good.

While I don't like a lot of the words that come out of Brad's mouth, I love what said mouth can do. So that part was fun but I really just had one goal for us today - finally hit a home run. In our pants.

So, I removed his hands from my jaw and placed them on my ass, lifting my legs I wrapped them around him. He didn't do much else until I rolled my hips against his and finally it seemed to click. We moved with urgency, him finding the step so he could sit. Me shimmying out of my bra. I was about to unwrap my legs so I could remove the panties, but then he growled no and squeezed my legs to him.

I was confused for two seconds but then, he ripped my panties clean off and floods I tell you. Floods. Like, even if we weren't in this pool, he'd be swimming. I was loving it, my body was on fire and for once, I found Brad as attractive as I did the day I met him.

I was feening, thinking of nothing but his dick in me, and we were so close. He had released himself from the confines of his boxers and everything, and that's when my parents- I mean, Shep and Danny stepped out onto the patio.

I locked eyes with Danny first, but it was Shep who made a scene.

"In our fucking pool?" He asked dramatically, "Is that your bra? Holy shit, Sean! Are you naked?"

Brad shoved me off of him. I barely registered it because I had floated up out of my body, all my focus on the hurt look in Danny's eyes. My brow furrowed, my body buzzing with the unreleased sexual tension. Tension that seemed to heighten the longer I looked at him- my friend- Danny. I honestly forgot about Brad until he was giving me my dress which had been laying on the side of the pool.

I slipped it on, and in that brief moment of broken eye contact, Danny disappeared back inside. Shep, however, continued to stand their like a disappointed father.

Brad left shortly after getting dressed, I didn't even bother to hide my recoil when he tried to kiss me goodbye. I shut and locked the door behind him and then marched into the living room, "What's wrong with you?" I asked Shepherd, seeing as he was the only one still around.

Shep locked his phone and slipped it in the flap of his windbreaker pouch. "I should be asking you the same thing. What are you doing, Sean? This isn't you."

I rolled my eyes, "That's the point." I snapped, gripping the back of the couch, I drilled my stare into his. "I'm trying to rediscover myself."

He raised an eyebrow, his deep blue eyes almost looking disappointed. "By fucking some loser you don't even like?"

I frowned, "How would you know if I like him or not."

"Give me more credit," He scoffed, "I've known you just as long as Danny, Sean. I know when you like someone, I know when you don't. That man clearly wasn't worth your time."

"So who is? Cause at least he showed interest in me!" I exclaimed, suddenly getting super emotional, like tears coming to my eyes and voice getting wobbly, emotional. "News flash, Shep, I'm not a hot commodity like you and Danny."

"That's a fucking lie," He snapped, "You're so dope. Any man would be blessed to have you, but just any man doesn't deserve you." I could tell he was getting worked up as well because his tone was getting tight, it touched my heart. "Especially not a man who doesn't like who you really are."
