"oh fuck no."
you spoke in the food court section of the mall. a couple people looked in your direction because you were a little loud.
"please, y/n" amora pleaded, "i already told you about this anyways."
"don't even try. you said you didn't want your date with jean to be awkward, not a double date with eren" you corrected.
amora heavily sighed, she started to come to terms with the face you weren't gonna budge. amora poked at her chinese food with her fork. you stared at her with pursed lips, feeling bad.
amora was like a sister to you. you met her in middle school when you moved out here from the east coast. it was just you two before the entire crew.
amora rarely hesitated when her friends asked anything. you figured that you could do something for her even though you weren't big on it. you were also curious to see where eren's head was at after putting him in his place the other day. sure, you could've been a bit nicer but you were already cranky and honestly, he needed that wake up call.
"alright 'mora i'll go but you owe me big time!" you finally gave in.
amora eyes light up and she quickly walked over to gave you a tight hug. she swayed you a bit while repeating 'thank yous' continuously. you laughed, hugging her back before going back to y'alls girl date.

you decided to get ready at your own house since it was decided y'all would all use one car to get to your destination. getting ready alone would hopefully give you enough time to relax before having to deal with eren and his obnoxious flirting.
once you finally agreed to the double date, amora proposed for the four of you to go local county fair before it closed. in her head, she would be able to have fun and really test her vibes with jean. you were already interested in going to the fair so you did not mind the 'date' location.

you walked down your porch to see a grey camero parked on the street infront of your house. amora rolled down her window hyping you up while you jokingly posed.
eren hopped out the backseat with a big ass smile as you met him near the car. you looked him up and down, mildly observing his outfit. he wore a graphic tee, 'hoochie daddy' shorts with low dunks.
"you look real fine, y/n." eren breathed out as he analyzed your body.
you shook your head, smiling a bit at the sudden compliment. "thanks eren," he opened the door as you got in before he shut the door and did a quick jog to the other side.

the two of you finally got into car & the drive began. jean and amora were in their own world while a partynextdoor song played semi-low in the background.
you decided to talk to eren about what happened in physics. it was the first time you actually seen eren shut the fuck up and move on since you met him.
"so how do you feel about what i said to you in physics the other day? " you questioned.
"i'm chilling, to be honest."
you raised your eyebrow, somewhat shocked. "you don't think i was doing too much or something?"
"not really, you didn't fuck with how i was approaching you," he shrugged. " i wanna talk to you so i'ma respect it.
you slowly nodded at his response. eren usually gave off a stubborn, argumentative attitude but you appreciated how respectful he was in this situation.
"you're actually the only girl who talked your shit" he lightly chuckled.
"and how you feel about that?"
"it's coming from you so i like it." eren teased. you sucked your teeth and shifted your attention to the window while he laughed at your gesture .
looking out the window, you sighed softly. you actually enjoyed the conversation you had with eren. it was a calmer side of him that showed his funny, understanding personality.
it made you think about what malakai said about 'a different side of him' like always, kai was right. this side of eren was tolerable and actually made you open to getting to know him.
