about a week after your fair 'date', eren's attitude changed.
he had started to become more distant. jean's statement after dropping you off really rubbed him the wrong way. he had a really great time with you and felt great but the thought of him actually opening his heart to a girl with something he was lowkey scared about.
not to mention how connie never failed to taunt him about losing. his competitiveness, ego and lack of control caused him to try and remove himself from your life a little bit, in hopes it would stop him from getting too emotionally connected with you that quick.
you would only catch glimpses of eren in class, between periods and sometimes when you were around amora and jean.
all your conversations become very general and vague. it was obvious he had pulled back was being totally nonchalant.
it annoyed you a little bit. he was so likeable and talkative a few weeks ago. so what had changed? you didn't focus on it too much though, he might have been going through his own shit.
but you weren't gonna chase or force an answer out of him, whatever he was on, you reflected.

zion pulled out his rolling tray and bag while you and nova talked about an upcoming volleyball game in the backseat of his car.
malakai's football practice ran longer than all the other sports because of a upcoming game. zi always dropped the three of y'all off after practice since it was on his way to work.
it would be real foul to just leave kai so you all decided to wait.
zion rolled a perfect pearl and the three of you passed the joint at least 3 rounds.
you made sure to get your all out of each puff. you didn't smoke nearly enough as nova and zion but when you felt overwhelmed, you did take a hit.
zion's weed was good so it didn't take much to get you high. you tapped out pretty early in comparison to zion and nova.
"okay n/n, i've been tryna mind my business but i really wanna know what happened on you and amora's double date." nova admitted.
"nah forreal, niggas is bored." zion backed up nova.
you planned on giving them a vague explanation but once you started talking, all your thoughts spilled out.
you told them everything, from the flirting at the fair to the gift he won for you, even your feelings. and nova and zion listened to every part of it without any interruption.
