It was almost 2 days after Dream and Bea's first real interaction and the pair was still buzzing with excited energy. They couldn't stop thinking about each other, too enveloped in their little words with each other to notice.
Since they had exchanged numbers, the pair had been texting non-stop. Seriously, ask anyone- it was all they were doing. One day, Joseph had come over to Bea's home to edit one of his YouTube videos, because he didn't want to be alone, and he's been missing Bea lately.
He had partially expected Beatrice to come over and help like she often did- but the blue-orbed girl was too busy with her phone, tapping out texts to the same person and giggling with every reply. It irked Joseph a lot.
Joey could see vaguely what the messages said, with his metal framed glasses on- Bea was texting someone named 'clay' with a heart emote next to their name, and not just a heart, but a green heart! Joey connected the dots- Dream's name was Clay, wasn't it?
A spike of jealousy grew in Joey's stomach, ugly and rotting. Joey tried to calm it down and refocus on his video editing but he just couldn't, not when the girl he liked was messaging another guy and looked so lovestruck while doing it. This wasn't how it was supposed to be.
Suddenly, Bea leapt from her seat with a excited gasp.
"Oh my god! Joey!" The british boy's heart leapt when she said his name. For a split second he thought it was all going to be okay, and that she would magically reveal her love for him- but that thought was short lived when she utters the ugly name that Joey have come to hate.
"Dream asked if he could give me lessons on playing that little block game!!" Bea beamed. "Like, professionally, like he does!"
The girl's green orbs glimmered with excitement and Joey felt his own spirit decay. Something rose inside of him, alongside the jealousy- anger.

Sitting down to record, Bea felt endlessly excited and a little scared too. She was longing to hear the voice of Dream, who she now knew as Clay. The pair had bonded closely very quickly and it had taken them both by surprise. Neither thought it would be possible to fall so quickly for someone they hardly knew- but it wasn't that, right? It wasn't... love? Cracking her knuckles, the girl joined VC, ready to have the time of her life.

Dream laughed out loud as Bea questioned every little detail of his favorite game. "So wait, swords are... 3 sticks and 2 iron?"
Her stupid questions made him do his iconic wheeze as she cursed him out for not giving a straight answer. "Cl- Dream! I need help here!"
Her pleas and protests were met with more laughter as she started freaking out over being shot at by a skeleton. "Oh my god," Dream got out, "you're so fucking funny!"
Inside, Bea was crooning at the compliment. But externally, she continued to yell loudly and put on a show for the camera. She was having a lot of fun. He was too. Bea enjoyed her time around him too much.
After some playful banter, it was finally time for them to depart.
Bea smiled, "That was fun. We should hang out again sometime."
Dream stuttered and she can imagine his face going red because of her sweet words. "Y-Yeah. W-We should." He seemed so nervous. "That was great, bae- I mean, Bea."

Bea squealed in her seat, excited for the release of her new vlog featuring no one other than Dream- the guy who she has quickly developed feelings for. The guy who she couldn't stop smiling her perfect white smile for.
Feedback flooded in, all surprised and excited for her vlog, but then her excitement faded away at the sight of Joseph's very passive aggressive comment in the middle of other cute lovey dovey comments.
who is this :)? the comment read, and Bea frowned her nicely shaped eyebrows she fixed up just for Dream earlier.
Bea felt sad that Joseph didn't like Dream the way she did, but that didn't matter much.
