Goodbye... part 2

It has been 2 years since Barry died, the city was doing well..

Iris woke up in silence, she took a shower and went downstairs, Barry used to be here cooking her breakfast or kissing her to wake up. But now, that's all gone.

His smile, his voice, his touch, all of that, Gone.

Iris sighed, she continued leading team Flash, because she knows that that would be what Barry wants.

She then went to Star labs, finding Cisco, Chester, Frost.

"Hey.." Cisco waved.

"Hi." Iris said as she sat down, she looked at Barry's Flash ring.

"We all miss him to Iris." Cisco said, Iris looked at him.

"Yeah, I know..." Iris said, tearing up.

"Hey." Cisco got up and went to Iris, "Barry would be proud of you for staying strong." Cisco said, he puts his hand on Iris shoulder.

"I-" Iris coudn't continue, she misses him to much.

"I need to be alone." Iris ran out of The cortex to the speed lab, Cisco sighed.

"Maybe we should give her some space." Chester said.

"Yeah, maybe you're right." Cisco said.

With Iris...

Iris was sobbing, she couldn't take it anymore, she just couldn't hold it in.

She was holding a picture of her and Barry, tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"Iris?" Iris looked up, it was her father.

Joe sat beside his daughter and hugged her, "Barry's in a good place now." Joe rubbed her back.

"I miss him." Iris cried.

"I miss him too." Joe said.

Iris coudn't hold in, she bursted into tears, thinking about her husband.

Joe calmed down Iris, he was also sad about Barry, he was his adoptive son.

"I don't know if I could move on." Iris mumbled.

"I know you can, and Barry would too." Joe said.

After a few minutes, the two left to Star labs and went to the precinct they got greeted by some officers and Captain Singh.

"Hey Joe, Iris." Singh greeted them.

"Hi Captain." Joe said.

"Hi." Iris greeted.

"Hi Iris, how are you doing?" Singh asked.

"I'm doing fine Captian." Iris said.

"Me and Iris will be on my desk." Joe said as he and Iris went to his desk.

Iris was looking through some files on her father's desk.

The day goes by like a blur, it was night time, Iris went home and had dinner, she then changed into her pajamas and went to bed, hoping tomorrow would be better.

"Iris"

She heard a voice, she looked around, it was Barry.

"Barry?"

"Hi." Barry hugged her, smiling.

"You're ok."

"Yes, I am." Barry said, he hold her hand.

"I miss you..." Iris started tearing up.

"I miss you too." Barry said, kissing her forehead.
