The guild war: Escanor Axe's a question

"Is master Makarov here?" Erza asked.

"You're finally back from your island getaway. So how was it? Did you have fun?" Mirajane asked.

"It was work, not a vacation," Erza corrected.

"Uh mirajane I wouldn't joke with her right now," Lucy warned.

"Who's that kid ya got with you Escanor?" Krov asked. At this point, they weren't even surprised when Escanor went to go get Natsu. They didn't know how or why he thought he could get Natsu but at least they came back alive.

"This is Anya," Escanor introduced them. Anya didn't seem to want to speak however taking her usual spot behind Escanor. 

"She's very shy around strangers, But she took a liking To Escanor," Happy Explained.

"Where is Makarov!" Erza demanded.

"He went out of town for some kind of last-minute council meeting or something like that," Macao answered "He's been gone since yesterday"

"Well that was a close one," Natsu said relieved.

"Yes, we won't have to deal with that until gramps get's back," Gray said.

"Oh thank goodness I wasn't ready to stare into the face of death yet I still have eight more lives,"  Happy cried.

"I can't stand it anymore you guys are really freaking me out! How's he gonna punish us? I can't die now I'm still so young and have so much to look forward to!" Lucy whined

"All of you shut up!" Erza ordered frightening the group. Meanwhile, Escanor took Anya over to explore the guild.

"Do you know when the master is planning to return?" Erza asked.

"No, But I imagine he'll be coming back anytime now," Mirajane guessed.

"Now listen up! You fools you're not getting off the hook! You broke Guild rules by taking on that S-class guest prepare to be punished!" Erza announced. Escanor was led outside by Anya who wanted to see Escanors house.

(Time skip)

"Come on Anya. It's time to go to the Guild!" Escanor called. It had been a while since they had returned home. There had been a few weird stuff that had happened. Luckily Escanor had been occupied with making his home friendly to Anya and teaching Umber that Anya was not a snack that he had missed entirely when Natsu and the rest went out for another job. 

"Okay Snore!" Anya teased. Escanor sighed feeling hurt. 

"Ha Ha Ha Ha! That's way better Then Escanor!" Umber laughed mocking Escanor's irregular Snoring that happened Randomly. Escanor shook his head walking outside and hearing Anya running down. And he bumped into some familiar faces.

"Natsu? Gray? Lucy? And Erza? Happy too," Escanor smiled. Natsu and the rest turned around seeming to have been caught in the middle of an argument.

"Escanor! I didn't know you lived here! How are ya?" Natsu smiled. 

"Are those fairy tail wizards?" The crowd whispered. Escanor looked up and backed away from all the attention. 

"Why is everybody staring at us?" Gray asked. Anya ran out and then immediately hid behind Escanor as they started walking towards the guild.

"It's not the good kind of staring," Happy noted.

"It feels like pity,"  Erza realized. Then looking up ahead she saw something strange. "What? Why does the guild look so bizarre?" She questioned.
