The fairy of pride

Updates and info! (And a sneak peek at the next chapter)

Yeah, I know this isn't what you're hoping for. But trust me when I say(/write) That I'm working on it. And most importantly a new few chapters for the fairy of pride will be released at once. But to entertain you all whilst I'm only able to come on for five minutes I've started hosting a voting page. 

It's released and most importantly it'll help you guys decide on new book ideas. So please go check it out. Also, I'm gonna be writing on Fanfiction every once in a while. One story. RWBY: Son of the stripped cross. So go check that out. 

The first chapter will be coming here of course but where as this will be without a timeline. That will be updated at least once every three weeks. So sorry If I seem to be making excuse after excuse but trust me.(I kinda am) 

And finally here's what you guys most likely came here for the lore! Here's the first part of Anya: The fairy of pride!

Escanor stood there looking down at Anya. His face didn't move from her sleeping face. Lucy, Natsu, Happy, and Erza could see his pain. Even without the light of the sun, they could see it.

"It's not your fault Escanor. She'll be okay," Lucy whispered.

"It is my fault. I wasn't strong enough to fight him, I lost," Escanor growled. Anger, Guilt, and torment all swirled through him like a storm.

"But you beat him, With that sweet new form! The one! It's awesome!" Natsu grinned.

"Escanor. Is there something you're not telling us?" Erza wondered.

"What?" Escanor responded confused and caught off guard.

"This sunshine power. You seem to have better control over it than many master wizards. Almost like you have had previous experience with it," Makarov observed walking inside.

"Yeah. When you put it like that it is strange. Unless..." Natsu trailed off.

"Unless what?" Escanor whispered.

"You're a reincarnation of a wizard from another world where you had that power!" Happy cried.

"You were training in secret!" Natsu yelled at the same time, Then he looked at happy strangely.

"Uh yeah what you said," Happy stumbled.

Escanor sighed but wondered why he was worried. He didn't want to keep his past a secret and certainly didn't do anything to hide it. So why was he relieved?

"I was wondering. You and young Anya have a connection. What happened during your mission?" Lucy asked.

Escanor smiled happily ready to tell the tale.

"Tis all started when my little sister saw a request on the board. Before the phantom guild attacked-

(Flashback time!)

"Escanor come on! Let's go!" Anya giggled. Escanor grinned taking her hand.

"Where are we going, Anya?" He questioned but already knew where.

"Fairy tail!" She squealed happily. She dragged him to the guild but as soon as they left the safety of the house she turned quiet and shy, However, Escanor could sense her joy the entire way. As they arrived at the guild she was quick to turn back into her bundle of joy as the guild welcomed her.

"Escanor! What are you doing you're late to work!" Macao scolded. Escanor whimpered slightly.

"Sorry sir, I'll get right to it," Escanor whispered rushing over to the bar. He quickly grabbed a bottle of booze for cana before she could even ask.

An hour later Anya ran over to escanor behind the bar carrying a piece of paper.

"Escanor, Come on! I wanna go on a job!" Anya groaned tugging on Escanor's clothes.

"A job? But you are not part of the guild. Sorry Anya," Mirajane smiled apologetically.

"Then Escanor can take it! And bring me along!" Anya argued.

"Well, there aren't any rules against it. What job do you have?" Makarov muttered.

Anya with a smile showed a troubling quest.

"Sealing five dragons!" She grinned.

"AHH!" Makarov yelled grabbing it straight out of her hand and rushing it away.

"Anya where did you get that?!" Mirajane asked. She gave off a look of calm but everyone could tell that they were feeling the same thing. Panic, Fear, and surprise.

"Up those stairs," Anya pointed towards the forbidden stairs.

"But why would you think of doing that kid?" Krov questioned.

"Huh? I saw gramps going up there. Am I not short enough?" Anya asked curiously and innocently.

"Pft!" The guild couldn't handle the words said as they erupted into laughter.

"This kid's a riot!" Wakaba laughed.

"That's enough!" Makarov roared.

Anya went up next to him putting a hand over her head then next to Gramps measuring she was taller than him but only just.

"See I'm only a tiny itsy bitsy taller than him," Anya protested.

At this point, even Makarov couldn't blame his children. Or even stop their laughter that erupted and woke up that dude who ran around at 3 pm with sound magic.

"Hey how about this one Anya?" Escanor questioned. Escanor wasn't laughing but he was holding it in just barely.

"These orphans are getting destroyed! Save them?" She read.

"It's a rank c request, And only pay's around 200 jewels" Mirajane recalled.

"Well, how about it kid?" Macao asked. Anya hesitated something about this didn't seem right. But as she looked up into Escanor's eyes she grinned and nodded.

"Let's go save some orphans!" Anya cried. And with that, both Escanor and Anya went off.

"I hope they have fun," Mirajane smiled.
