chapter 47: "strikes at 12!"

Imelda's pov

Tomorrow is chirstmas day at discharge ngayon ni imee sa hospital. We got home with only lolita in our house.

Imee sat on the couch with a sad face

"why mahal?" i asked but she seems wants to ask me something. I sit beside her and caressed her hair

"where is daddy? I didn't saw him" tanong nito. I looked at her and smile

"she's too busy with work mahal....by the way i have something for you but we have to wait till twelve mamaya okay?" sabi ko

"let's go to ninong logan's house mamaya, we'll spend our christmas there" sabi ko at hindi pa din ito ngumingiti

"with daddy?" sabi nito

"W-well maybe, if he's not busy" sabi ko

"is he going to give me some present too?" sabi nito

I don't now either...what should i do? I know imee will get sad if ferdinand won't give her any presents

"daddy" sigaw ni imee sabay tayo at takbo papunta kay ferdinand

"are you going with us?"tanong ni imee

Napakunot naman ang noo ni ferdinand

"to where?" tanong nito.

"ninong logan's house" sabi ni imee andferdinand looked at me at umiwas ako ng tingin

"sorry but i can't go with you, there's some errands in office...just enjoy your day at your ninongs house" sabi ni ferdinand sabay hawak sa ulo ni imee at nagtungo na sa taas

"lolita" tawag ko at kaagad naman itong lumapit. Binilin ko muna sa kanya si imee upang sundan si ferdinand sa taas

"are you really going to be like this" sabi ko

"like what?" tanong nito habang may hinap sa cabinet nya

"she might not be your daughter but-" hindi ko natapos ang sasabihin ko

"yan! Inamin mo na rin sa wakas" sabi nito

"i didn't know before you gave me the DNA result" sabi ko

"oh stupid" sabi nito sabay ti gin sa akin na para bang hindin nya ako asawa

"i'm telling the truth, i didn't know" sabi ko

"sa tatlong taon imelda, panigurado naman at kumuha ka ng DNA test. Wag mong sabihing hindi, because I won't believe you" sabi ni ferdinand

"i didn't because i'm scared to see who the real father is....it was an accident" sabi ko habang naluluha

"this is so stupid imelda" sabi nya sa bay lagpas sa aki

"are you going to spend your time with her?" sabi ko at napahinto ito

"akala mo ba hindi ko alam na nakikipagkita ka pa rin sa kanya!.....kay carmen?! Diba?" sarkastikong sabi ni imelda. Humarap ito sa akin

"akala mo kung sinong malinis" sabi nito sa akin

Oo tanggap ko dahil alam ko naman sa sarili ko na hindi ako malinis because of what I did. Na for all these years i'm the dirty and liar Imelda she is facing with.

It was a mistake, and i can't tell what really happend. It's all mixed up ni my head.

"i'm good if you want to celebrate your christmas at logans house then go ahead" sabi nito sabay talikod ulit at akamang aalis ng humarap ulit ito

"ah, don't forget to invite her Father" sabi ni ferdinand sabay alis

Nagtungo na ako sa kwarto at nagpalipas doon ng oras kasama si imee
