Ch63: CALE WITH BROTHER-IN-LAWS

Cale displayed a nonchalant expression while positioning himself on the couch he opened a book and began to read ignoring Pen who's sitting across still is glaring at him. "Pen, are you listening?" Rosalyn asked as she followed Pen's gaze, seeing that it was on Cale she sighed. "Pen... would you please listen"
"I still have not accept him" He said while puffing his chest and crossing his arms, Rosalyn rolled her eyes "You can't really get in the way... If you do then their will be a problem between us." Rosalyn glared at Pen she love her family theirs line that even her family can't cross Pen being stubborn kept his mouth shut he as the youngest grew with the unlimited love of his older sibling especially Rosalyn who is his only sister Cale kept his head low and eyes on the book trying to ignore the cold atmosphere of the sibling He felt suffocated by their argument, he felt it was wrong for siblings to fight but he was Rosalyn's lover could not meddle with their quarrel Pen scowled at Cale before leaving the office Rosalyn let out a sigh followed by a look of uneasiness, she felt wrong letting Pen walk away like that, she had scolded and threaten Pen plenty of times, he always have something to say before offering his obedience it was different this time Pen left with no other words.

Rosalyn flinched at the pair of arms warping around her waist as if to secure her "You should go talk to him..." Cale rested his chin on her shoulder as he spoke, though he wish not to make contact with Pen as it gives him a headache "Yeah...I guess I should..." Rosalyn hesitantly spoke her words, she then looked at Cale with eyes that seem to be processing something "Erm?...is there something wrong?..." Cale asked curiously.
Her luscious lips then formed a smile complimenting her enchanting appearance.
Making the red-headed male speechless.
"What are you thinking?" Cale asked that smile was enchanting indeed but there was something about her smile that made him wary.

The next day.
Cale felt tired early on such a sunny day, facing two royals of the break kingdom family.
"Rosalyn what is the meaning of this" Cale asked Rosalyn who was already having a heartwarming conversation with his siblings?
"Lily here suggested to me a better idea for both our families to get to know each other" Rosalyn happily responded to Cale instantly looking at Basen. "What miss Rosalyn said is the truth, we have known each other not as in-laws but as camaraderie__" "Aren't you supposed to be busy?" Cale raised a question cutting Basen off, Rosalyn could his intention he was trying to make an excuse to escape the situation "I'am but family comes first, I must know and bond with my sister-in-law before the wedding" Cale silently groan and turned towards one person in the room who's the busiest "Your majesty, are you not busy?" He asked kindly  "I'am but I barely speak with my older sister, So I've postponed my work just for this day..." Cale lowered his head still trying to think of an excuse "Is my soon-to-be brother-in-law not wish to bond with me?..." John spoke in a nonchalant tone of voice, earning Cale's shocked look The average-looking King was not so different from Pen, after all, siblings are siblings John was like a mix of Rosalyn and Pen he balance his childishness and seriousness and he knew how to twist his words properly "Well for today I'll accompany your siblings while you accompany mine" She suggested, Cale was of course against it he was not the type to meet new people though he had met with John plenty of times they weren't close to making a conversation.

Rosalyn, Lily, and Basen bond together like true siblings sharing their thoughts and likeness they were like people born in the sun with Rosalyn's talkativeness the two soften up quickly towards her, unlike Cale who has been walking with John for almost a minute 'Cale say something!' The super rock demanded 'Cale I feel suffocated speak!' Followed by the fiery thunderbolt 'I have never been in an awkward situation, you know what I think I have but it wasn't this awkward!!' shouted the Sound of the wind 'Cale asked how are you or something' The instructable shield suggested it wasn't just Cale who was dying of the awkwardness but also his ancient powers "How's the planning of the wedding?" John's sudden question made Cale flinch "We haven't gotten into the preparation just yet"
"I asked about the plan" John highlighted the word plan "Oh, I have already confirmed what to do_"
"How about my sister, did you confirm it with her?" John asked with his back facing Cale as they walked through the vast garden of the Henituse "Yes we both agreed for the venue to be in between the kingdom boundaries"
"Agreed or you force her to?" Can't was slightly taken aback by his question "I have to reason to force her to" He said, a thin blade was suddenly pointed at his neck, John had been hiding a blade in his sleeves "release my sister Cale Henituse" He said in a demanding tone, Cale stared at him confused but Cale took his words wrongly 'this Sister simp! Are they that obsessed with their sister?!' He thought while looking at John with a piercing gaze wind then began to whirl around his foot "I don't want to" Cale responded with a face ready to fight "JOHN!" Rosalyn's voice attracted the two's attention, and she looked at the situation between them with confusion, Cale stared at her, he too is confused the man pointing a blade at his neck is the beloved brother of his soon-to-be-wife he can't simply hurt the guy, Cale kept his eyes on Rosalyn hoping she could fix it but before she could again open her mouth she was caught off guard by John in the blink of an eye the two disappeared, Basen and Lily had their mouth hung open they too were confused but the next thing made them scared of them brother Cale kept his eyes glued on the spot where his soon-to-be-wife was just now standing with eyes wide open and anger slowly raising.
