Ch46: I LOVE YOU

Rosalyn almost want to face-palm herself she was acting immaturely.
'Oh, what am I doing....'

Rosalyn silently questioned herself before sighing this was childish when it comes to this kind of thing she normally would sit down and talk out then clear things up realizing her action Rosalyn calmed herself and then fixed her expression before sitting up on the bed like a proper lady.
"Cale what did you truly come here for"
Cale had already given his apology which was what she was looking for, but odd? Why was she not satisfied?
'Hormones are hard to deal with...'
Rosalyn thought while keeping a cold stoic expression which worsened Cale's complicated mind.
"I came here to apologize for my earlier's action"
Cale paused for a slight second and observed Rosalyn just now he wanted to comfort her like he always does with his children but now with how cold her expression was Cale aborted his plan and is now thinking of another approach.
"Are you alright?..."
"You're repeating your words..but yes I'am thank you for asking"
With her response, the atmosphere in the room dropped to its lowest level for Cale that is.
Cale became more anxious and quickly thought of an approach.
Rosalyn coldly stare at Cale who had his head hand low while fidgeting with his fingers.
Everything started with her walking out of the room Rosalyn had thought she should just be honest and say it rather than continue this childish angry fight?

*inhale...

"I_?!"
Rosalyn paused her words for a slight second as she realized what she is feeling.
Cale raised his head and as he did confusion was visible on his face.
'What? Why?!...why do I feel like crying?!'
Rosalyn thought as tears build up in her eyes.
"Are you hurt anywhere?!"
Cale panicked and she held their hand.

*sniff
Tears were continuing to pour down her eyes for no reason.

'Why on earth am I crying this is not a matter to cry!' Rosalyn thought as she covered her eyes but thinking about saying everything from when she walked out of the room made her feel sad and tear up even more.
"I just *sniff need a moment to calm down"
Rosalyn said while whipping her tears away.
Cale blankly stared at Rosalyn at this rate he doesn't know what to do Rosalyn was a crying mess.

"Rosalyn...."
Unknown of what to do Cale let his instinct decide for him he stretched his arms and held warped around Rosalyn's head pulling it closer to his chest.
"What are you doing?"
Rosalyn asked who was now caressing her hair.

"Cale..."

"Mmm?"

"At least sit closer you're breaking my back"

"Ah, right"

Rosalyn was pulled closer by Cale who was sitting on a chair that is 5 cm far away from the bed she's sitting on.

Cale drew closer and sat on the bed with Rosalyn still in his arms.
"Huuu..."
"Have you calmed down now?"
"Yes, very much"
A moment of silence filled the room as Cale contemplate whether he should say what he wanted to say or not.
'This isn't so bad...I should stay for a while'
Rosalyn thought as she warped her arms around his waist burying her face in his chest while smiling uncontrollably.
"Huuu...Rosalyn"
"Mmm?"
Rosalyn who was busy enjoying the warmth of Cale did not even listen properly to his call.
"Do you have..."

Rosalyn whose head was on his chest could hear his heart beating wildly.
'Have what?'

'Why are you going to ask me?!' Rosalyn panicked hearing the increasing heartbeat of Cale as if his going to have a heart attack.
"Any...feeling's for me..."
Cale whispered his last three words.
"What?"
Rosalyn heard as she was closed to Cale but was slightly taken aback by his question.
"Feel...nevermind"
Cale dismissed his question and scratches the back of his head.
A vain then appeared on Rosalyn's forehead as she forcibly formed a smile on her lips and prevented her from tightening her grip around his waist.
Such a question was normal and just needs a simple answer but the sudden question and dismissed caused her to suddenly get angry?
Rosalyn raised her head and remove Cale's arms from her as gently as possible.
"Are you..dumb..?"
Rosalyn asked while smiling ever so beautifully.
"Huh?"
His response just worsen her anger, Rosalyn let out a sigh of disappointment.
"Cale, there is a limit to being oblivious"
She said while caressing his left cheek gently.
"Tell me, Cale Henituse why the hell would I let you have your way with my body twice, carry your child, go on a date with you and even let you meet my parents?"
"Wel__"
"Exactly, you dumb little Bas__Ahem, I mean lover"
The words she's trying not to say we're not a match to her demeanor she has a smile on her face as she almost called him names.

But her response didn't satisfy Cale.
Rosalyn knew how to read a person's feelings, and thoughts based on their demeanor seeing that Cale still had a gloomy expression she calmed herself.
And thought of something.
'Couple?...usual say sweet words at times like this...'
"Huuuu...I love you"
She said while keeping her eye contact.

"Why aren't you saying anything"
Rosalyn asked with an embarrassed face that was her first time saying 'I love you' to someone out of her family bloodline, Cale who was stunned by the sudden attack just stared at her, while his inside was partying(ancient powers)

'Cale you oblivious punk say it back!'

'Say it! Say it! Say it! Say it!'

The super rock shouted in excitement followed by all of Cale's ancient powers cheering for him.

*tear...

"Eh?!"

'Huh?!'
Even the ancient powers were confused why was a tear escaped his eyes.

'Was because I called him dumb?!'
"I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to call you dumb__eek!"
Cale had tears in his eyes as he embraced Rosalyn into a tight hug while letting out a laugh of relief.
"HA...hahahaha"
"Cale are you alright?..." Rosalyn asked out of concern.
Cale buried his face in her neck calming himself down.
Before speaking.
"thank you...no one had such a word towards me before"
That was the truth and even if someone did it's probably when he was still a child, but now he barely has any good memories of his childhood, hearing it again made him emotional.
Hearing that, Rosalyn frowned and could only pat his back to give him comfort.
She remained silent for a slight second while comforting Cale as she did she began to get curious as to why Cale asked a question with a very obvious answer.

'He can't be too oblivious....he must've had a reason to ask'

"...Cale, did you really think I don't have feelings for you?"
Cale hesitate but opened his mouth to finish all this he might as well say everything.

.....few minutes later

"Don't laugh"

"Pfft__Haha*cough! hahaha"
How could she not laugh she was angry for nothing and the reason he was like that was because of her silent response to Pen's question.
After calming down Rosalyn recalled what she wanted to say to Pen as a response.

"Yes."

"Mmm? Yes, what?"
Cale raised his head to meet Rosalyn's eyes which were full of more warmth than before.

"I do, love him very much"

Rosalyn gently caressed Cale's cheeks making him flinched at her touch.

"That's why I'm doing this" Cale's face was red as a tomato, listening to her words while her eyes were full of warmth and love, all those were directed to him.

"This was the answer I wanted to give Pen"
Cale lowers his head and again buried it to the crock of her neck embarrassed.

"Stop doing that"

"Hahaha" If Rosalyn hadn't been embarrassed to answer Pen this whole thing would be been avoided.

Cale then remembered he had something to say.

"Type..."

"Mm?"

With his head buried in her neck, and how quiet he said his words Rosalyn was not able to hear what he said.

"Did you say something?"

"No, nevermind"

Cale again dismissed his words and tightened his grip on her waist 'I'll say it another time
