Today was a very peaceful day. It was warm with a nice breeze so you thought it'd be a perfect day to walk your dog. You walk around your neighborhood, occasionally saying hello to those outside. Walking down the sidewalk, you try to keep up with your dog. She's a frenchie named d/g. She was oh so cute. She had a fawn coat of fur with a pink sparkly collar on with a small bow in front which had her name and your address dangling on a small metal heart. She walked with haste trying to get in as much scenery as possible.

You call her name a couple types while carefully and lightly tugging on the collar to get her to slow down. You stop at a intersection and wait till you can cross the rode. When no cars are coming you start back to walking. As soon as you step foot in the rode you hear quick loud bells.

"Wait stop watch out!" You hear a voice yelp. You stop and whip your head to the the left to be face to face with a boy. He was close as hell too. You studied his face long enough to get every detail of him. Gosh he was so cute. He was on his tip toes as he was struggling to stand cause he slipped off his seat trying to stop.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I didn't see you at all!" You say quickly apologizing. He chuckles, "No no it's fine! No worries." He says panting a little. "I'm Billy!" He says cheerfully. You smile, "Im R/N, It's nice to meet you." You hold your hand out to shake his hand. He leans an arm on his handles as he reaches to shake your hand.

Your arm tugs violently. You look back to see a bigger dog playing with D/N. They were barking and playing around. "Aww, I think he likes her." Billy says admiring the two. You four step onto the sidewalk out of the rode for safety.

"Yea she does!" You let go of the collar so she can have more freedom. "What kind of dog is that?" You ask. "A Golden Retriever." He says. You nod looking at his long fur. His dog turns to you panting and licks your hand. "Aww, and what's your name big guy?" You coo. You reach for his collar and look at the name. "Rufus" it read. You scratch behind his ear smiling.

You stand up and look at billy who was.. staring at you. "Something the matter?" You ask. He blinks a few times then chuckles awkwardly, "Sorry it's just.. Rufus never really pays much attention to anyone. He's aloof. You'd think he'd be a people person by the kind he is." He answers. "He must really like you.." he says kind of trailing off while looking right into your eyes.

You smile, "Well, I'm sure D/N would love to have him over!" You say. His face lights up, "You want them to have a play date?" He asks excitedly. You nod your head quickly grinning. He quickly reaches in his basket and pulls out a newspaper and pen. He jots down something then rips the paper off and hands it to you. "There's my number and address! Call me anytime I'm usually free." He says quickly.

You stuff the paper into your pocket, "Okay sure will Billy!". He looks at his watch then widens his eyes, "Shi- Shoot! I gotta go!" He says. He whistle to Rufus signaling him to his side. "See you soon!" He says, pedaling off. "Yea okay!" You wave to him as he gets farther and farther. You stare for a little longer before D/N's barks rips your eyes from him.

You look at her at she pants up at you. You smile to her then grab her leash, walking off towards your house. "Guess you made a new friend huh?" You ask her. She barks happily making you giggle. Oh how you can't wait to see him again.
