Chapter 12

Mario POV~ I didn't make a promise to Keyshia but I am coming back. But I can't do it on my own. Then I thought about my best friend Enija. Growing up I had a crush on her but my feelings disappeared. We always got in trouble together so you can say that we're going down memory lane but Enija my bitch so I ain't got no worries. I decided to call her because its been awhile and I'm hoping she down with my plan.

Mario~ Yo Nija!!!
Enija~ Wassup nigga its been a minute.
Mario~ Yeah ik I'm just going through some shit.
Enija~ What's wrong??
Mario~ Remember when I started working for James?
Enija~ Yea
Mario~ Well I helped me capture his daughter and all he do is beat on her. You know I don't like niggas disrespecting females.
Enija~ I know. So do u like her or something?
Mario~ Kinda but she got a bf but I came up with a plan tho
Enija~ Kill him?
Mario~ Yep
Enija~ Im yo girl so do you want me to help??
Mario~ Do you want to??
Enija~ Hell yeah
Mario~ Ight I'm text you the spot we gon met at
Enija~ ok

See that's what I like about Enija. She always had my back no matter what. That's a tru bitch right there. I know Keyshia miss me but it won't be too long until I come back now that I have my partner in crime with me.

Keyshia POV~ I woke up the next morning feeling by the sunshine that came through my curtains. I smiled at the thought of what will probably happen after I tell him "yes". I smelled food from downstairs so I guess I'm not cooking this morning. I went to the bathroom and took a shower and all that good stuff. I picked out a pair of jeans and a tank top and my slippers. I put my hair in a ponytail and headed to the kitchen. I saw my dad at the stove cleaning up while there was food on the table. I was impressed on how much he cooked. He turned around and smiled at me. When I was younger I was told that me and my dad have the same smile. I finally realized that is true. "Morning sweetheart" he said to me. "Good morning" I replied. I sat down at the table ready to stuff my face with food. As I was about to eat my dad popped the question.

"Will you give me a second chance?" He said with hope in his voice.

It took me a second to answer and I didn't know why. I had my answer stuck in my head since 1 this morning. Here it is at 9 in the morning and I can't get my answer out. "Fuck it" I said to myself.

"Yea" I said with my mouth full of hashbrowns.

"Did you said "yes"?" He said raising his eyebrow.

"Yes I'm gonna give you a second chance." I said.

Seeing him with tears of joys was making me cry too. I prayed to God that I won't regret my decision and I think this is a sign that I won't regret my decision. He came up to me and hugged me tight. Feeling his embrace was not as bad as I thought it would be. Best hug I've had in awhile I could say.

"I love you Keyshia" He said in my ear.

"I love you too daddy" I replied back.

Will this be a new beginning for Keyshia and her father James?
