Three weeks after Jade and Jordan's accident

"Wave goodbye to dada and Axel"

It was Friday afternoon and Perrie was watching her husband and son go away for the weekend. Life during those years had got extremely busy but the couple had always made an effort to spend quality time with their children; Alex and Axel would have spent those days camping while Perrie would have enjoyed some quality time with Izzy.

The singer took her daughter's hand and started walking back inside the house.

"Are you happy to spend some time with mommy?" she asked and laughed when her daughter started nodding excitedly. "So what do you want to do sweetheart?"

"Shopping" the toddler suggested looking at her with hopeful eyes and Perrie nodded immediately.

"Shopping it is then" she replied walking upstairs to start getting ready.

"I'm taking Jaz to the park" Jade informed going inside her boyfriend's home office. The mood in that house wasn't the lightest, from the moment Jade had been discharged from the hospital, besides some random words here and there, the two had basically avoided each other.

For Jade and Jordan life during those years hadn't been easy, to be fair there had been a few occasions in which things got extremely complicated and difficult. It would have been a breaking point for many people but not for them. For them, it was mainly a lesson, a lesson that taught Jade how important it was to be understanding and patient with herself and for Jordan to realize that a life without Jade wouldn't have made sense, no matter the direction their lives would have taken what he needed was Jade beside him.

He was sitting behind his desk and stooped what he was doing to look at her. "Umm", He said scratching the back of his head. "You aren't going to drive are you?"

The brunette sighed and shook her head. "I'm going to call a taxi don't worry" she replied looking at him wanting to say more but not knowing whether it would have been a good idea.

"Jade" he whispered taking the time to find the right words. "Do you want to talk?" he suggested not really sure of his own words.

She raised her brow and looked him in the eyes. "Oh, now you want to talk!" She asked sarcastically making Jordan sigh.

"Jade" he repeated more seriously. "Can we-" he tried to suggest but she interrupted him.

"Cause the last time I tried to talk to you and have a mature conversation we almost ended up killed in a car crash!" she whisper-yelled as the last thing they needed was their daughter hearing them argue.

He lowered his gaze and sighed again perfectly knowing that she was right. "I'm sorry".

Jade looked at him and her attitude quickly dropped; she was aware of how sorry the man was, It had been clear since the first time they had seen each other after the accident but they both didn't feel ready to talk about it.

"I know", she said walking closer to him and slightly smiling when he made her sit on his lap. "You have always been my rock" she continued looking him in his eyes and remembering the past.

"And I'll be for the rest of my life" he smiled and then kissed her on the cheek. "So, you are taking Jaz to the park" he double-checked as he was hugging her from behind and Jade nodded.

"Don't worry, as I told you I won't drive" she explained already knowing what he was going to say.

"I don't want you to lose your license. Just wait a couple of days for the results" He explained and Jade nodded to then kiss him and stand up.
