The ground crackled beneith them. From the skies a drop.
Another. And another.
This feeling she knew.
In any moment the ground will split. And it will fall.
They will fall.
And it did.
With a loud CRACK the ground lost its grip and so did Thomas.
Robin screamed. No.
Not again. Not again. This cant be happening.
Stones flew all around. Time moves slowly. So it feels.
She jumps down after him.
Reaching for his hand.
The rain getting heavier.
Their faces are the same.
The feeling too.
Its like a few weeks ago. All over again.
She needs to catch him.
At least save one.
Dont be useless wings. For once you need to be helpful.
She moves them. Giving herself a push. Reaching that hand.
Her eyes widen. Now or never. Her wings against the wind.
They slow down.
She grabs both his hands, her wings flap with a lot of force and they shoot forward.
To safety.
As they land she sighs: 'God that was close'
'You lied.'
Her view goes up.
To him. He doesnt look happy.
'What?'
The rain begins to get heavier
They are getting more soaked by every second.
'You lied about your wings.'
His voice monotonous and disappointed.
'I-... bec-'
'I trusted you.' He breaks her sentence.
'For once I thought there were no lies.'
She moves back, a little stunned.
The rain making her feathers heavier
She moves her wings down to the ground.
She takes a breath to talk but he cuts her off once again.
'I dont want your excuses.'
She shakes her head slighty.
'Listen I- I was scared...'
He tears up. Breaking eye contact and turning away.
'Thomas wait!'
Robin grabs his hand, putting her wing on it too. Its soaking wet and heavy.
'DONT TOUCH ME!' He spits out of anger, slapping away her hand and pushing that wing away.
A spark ignites. Shortly after he fire in his hand. That fire evaporates the water in her wing, it fizzles and the wing catches fire.
Thomas backs off in shock.
Robin curses in pain and shakes the fire out. The feathers are burned and some are completly gone.
'I'm sorry... I didnt mean to- I-'
He stutters and backs off slowly, it slowly turning into a run.
Robin holding her wing. Trying to run after him.
'Thomas! Wait no-'
She spreads her wing to catch up, but flinches in pain.
Her eyes go up, watching him run away.

The rain is getting heavier. You couldnt see she was crying by all the rain on her face.
