The Switch (The second chapter)

"Elecktra ,honey?"

Someone knocked on the door and came in.

"I bought some cookies,do you want some?"

I was lying on my belly on bed and turned over quickly,trying to sit casually.I messed up the whole bed.Also my hair.

"Yeah,sure mom."

The only thing I could never say no to were Chocolate chip cookies by Madam Birdlem's Bakery.

I loved cookies and by that,my parents had only clue I might be a human.

"Do you want some tea too?"

"No,it's okay,mom."

Mom came in and sat on my bed.

She put the plate with cookies to an end table and looked around on my embarrasingly neat room.

Everything was organized,I love when everything is clean and neat.

Mom loved that line in me,since she was usually the only one who cleaned in that house.

I got myself a cookie and tried to eat it casually and ended up having half of that cookie on my lap.

Yuck.

How can people eat like that?

Mom looked at all of that and started talking:

" So have you started packing yet?"

A bit of chocolate went to my throat and I coughed like I was sick.

"Yes honey,we are going to vacation.

Right after Ashley goes to Oxford."

Mom waited for another epic reaction,like cough attack,but I just tried to sound super enthusiastic.

"Oh,awesoooome.Where to?"

"To Brazil."

Mom jumped up and made a hula dance move.I hope she wont do that again before we get to Brazil .

"Well...hehe..Where are my tops and mini skirts?"I tried to be enthusiastic,but failed,cz I looked awful in things like that.I bet I'll be in the hotel the whole trip.

"Do you need some help in packing?"

"Mom,I'm 15"

"Yes,yes you are..."

She went by the door and opened it.

"I yend to forget that because of this little energy monster"

She pointed at Sady,standing in front of wall thoughtfully,surrounded by crayons and thought what to sketch on wall today.

Mom went quickly to her,and stopped Picasso Jr. from painting her next masterpiece.

I,went to close the door,while mom was still mad from the wallpaint insident("No Sady,you have paper for that,do YOU have to clean it all up after?!")

and opened my closet.

I have nothing for the vacation.

All I saw were black,grey,dark blue or just...dark.

After some hours I managed to find somewhere deep in my closet a pair of bright orange bikini.

I tried it on and sighed.

I looked skinny,my skin looked greyish with this bright orange,and my hands and legs were so tall ,I alnost looked like a spider.

Since that tryon,I just throwed everything I found in my room to my bag and said I have packed up.

Then we had a family dinner,where parents talked in portugese,so children wouldn't understand dirty jokes.

Then Ashley said loudly she has to pack soooo much and. has no time for herself.

Mom said she can help with packing(Ash refused) and dad suggested eating his new time capsule(Ash refused again).

Then mom started cooking dessert,Ashley went upstairs and dad started tuning up/playing his guitar.

He tended to do that on friday evenings.

Sady turned the light in living room dim,but everything was cosier like,that so no-one argued.

I sat on a sofa and watched the fireplace and the fire inside for so long I fell asleep.

I dreamt about a campfire and people dancing around it.

It was kinda creepy dream.

When I woke up,it was 5 am.

I decided to go to the sea,because everyone were sleeping.

At the beach I watched how sun was risen,with majestic landscape and red glow.

I felt refreshed and went back to home.

At home,everyone were running around,like a normal family does on vacation mornings.

Mom quickly gave me cereal and said:"Honey,brush your teeth,get dressed,and pack those things you. want with yourself on plane,quickly"

I did all of that and soon our family was in the car.

Sady found all of that quite amusing,dad made jokes about planecrashes and mom was the only one to check schedules,things,cat getting fed and locking doors.

Ashley talked nervously to someone with her new iPhone5(Dad) and tried to do makeup at the same time.

And I started listening music and watch fields getting by.

At the airport,a "Jolly crocodile" wouldnt let us through before me and Ash put on a T-shirt("Eat Yoshia cereal,100% nutritous and fun.")

When we got in,we wanted to get those things off.

Mom and dad went to check-in with Sady,gave us our tickets and said I would go after them.

As for Ashley,there was a small hug-kiss-we will miss you party.Ashley made her baby face and said she will miss them too.

Then mom and dad headed to control and me and Ashley went to bathroom ro get those stupid T-shirts off.

When I was done,mom and dad were already on plane with Sady.

I went to the,line and saw Ashley on the other side of the hallway.

She smiled and waved to me.

I did the same.

Then an afroamerican guy with moustache asked"Are you miss Berrybot?"

"Yes,I am"

"Well then,here's your passing ticket,safe instructions and a coupong for 15% off from duty-free products.

Enjoy your flight,miss."

"Thank you"

I went to the plane,but didn't see momand dad.

The stujards said the plane was very full and maybe my parents are on in another class .

I sat down next to a sleeping old man and put on my seatbelt.

The captain said its a beautiful day to fly,and everyone could just watch the sky.(It was sunny first time in 2weeks)

As the plane got into the sky,

I looked at the city get smaller and smaller until it was a little dot.
