The teacup tingled when it fell on the ground.I wasn't sure if in a good or bad way,but I was definetely shocked.
My granny.
My family.
My saviour.
My threatener.
"A Berrybot is in my family" I mumbled.
"I know that" she answered.
Awkward silence flew over the paradisiac room.Could she be...?
"Are you my mothers mom?"
"Yes"
"She says I'm like you"
"Hmph"
More awkward silence.
"So I am connected to you"I breathed in and out quickly.
"Yes,by blood."She agreed.
She comforted her seat and started stirring half fused sugar, making a little tingling sound."
"Well, grandmother or not,I am still in a very uncofortable situation here"I was bit angry. Why didn't she help me to get out from here?
"You can adjust to this situation"She answered curtly.
She stood upand from nowhere, pulled out a turquise maxi skirt and black top.
"Put those on"She said."They are a bit more comfortable"
I looked at this potato bag I was wearing and had to agree.
I changed quickly behind a bower that was decoration part in the white wood puzzle and sat back.
I wasn't sure if she was up to good.
Her face wasn't like normal granny's.
It was cold and emotionless.
I got creeps from that look she gave me.
"What did you do to me down there"I asked slowly.
"We fixed you. It's not everyday we heal suicides here"She answered toning up.
"I didn't ask for fixing.I don't feel like myself anymore."I answered keenly.
"So it means the serum works."She quickly jumped up and went to the desk and wrote something down with a big white feather.
I awkwardly observed the process fighting the want to just run away from here.
When she finished she decourously walked back to the sofa and sat down again.
"Now listen Elecktra. You must know something. That choma dream of yours. It wasn't a dream. It was just a little experience of you future life.Sush!"She quieted me when I was going to show my protest on another dramatic turn in my life"You need to hear it.I mixed up you and your sister when you were little. The names,I mean...and"
"Yeah, that's an easy thing to do..."I mumbled sarcastically.
"Please, let me finish"she asked"So the name tag of the camp went to Ashley, though it was meant to you.The 5-th yearers, they actually go to....Master.Your sister knew that too.She was planned to go,but then I understood my mistake and switched the planes so you could see what was going on.You needed to see that, because"She sighed"Because it was real"
I just wanted to laugh, because I was going mad.
"LOOK,GRANNY(Isn't this ironic?) I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON, I'M NOT BELIEVING YOUR SHIT AND I WILL BE LEAVING NOW,UNDERSTOOD?!"
I jumped up and started flouncing to the door. And then, all of a sudden,I stopped when she just said...
"Beth.
Isn't this your second,hidden name?"Bethany asked sharply.
I stopped -no one knew that, except me and my mother.
Memories from that rainy November evening floated in my eyes,me and mom, looking baby photos of me and Ashley, when suddenly...
"Ouch"I cut myself with a sharp braid. It was a baby bracelet, the one they give to babies so littlies won't get mixed up.I looked closer and saw an extra name next to 'Elecktra'
"Mom?"I turned to my mother who was looking at picture of me and Ashley playing in sandbox.
"Yes,honey?"Mom smiled to me,still in thoughts of that sandbox picture"What is it?"
"Look"I handed the small pink baby bracelet to mom"It says here I have 2 names"
"Well that's odd...maybe nurses mixed up something"Mom frowned.
"Are you sure?"I asked.A little dissapointment wave floated over me.It would've been cool to find out I have a normal name too."
"Yes I'm sure.Lets not mistake anyone, don't tell your father,he has a soft spot for naming you"
Mother found a way out and threw the name tag 'Elecktra Beth Berrybot'back in the memory box.
"Okay..."
In a little while,I was back with Bethany in that open and light room, wich didn't fit the dramatic situation here.
I was speechless.
There was no possibility that she could've known that.
I breathed in some fresh air and turned around.
Anger gathered in me with shock.
i wanted to say something cool.
"Why do you want me here?"
I went closer,step by step,slowly,like a predator.
"You weren't there, when I grew up.I needed someone, maybe you,but you weren't there.I don't need you anymore. You're not connected to me by blood. You are connected to me by shame, what comes to you by abandoning your little daughter when she needed you the most! She doesn't even remember anything of you, except you appearance! And then, all of a sudden, you kidnap her daughter, yes, not the pretty and popular one,but still.
These people,you ex-family,are worrying their asses off,for me,and you just.....offer me tea?!?"
I was breathing really quickly and stood kinda close to her by her desk now.I saw the poisonous, corrosive effect of my words, when her inside collapsed and old scars were rid open.
I wanted to kill her with one stab.
"You are no family of mine"I said disgustingly"You are not my granny"
I turned around again and quickly walked outside the enourmous doors, pushing both of the white lids open and maxi skirt flying bahind me.They fell back closed when I was half way on the corridor already, leaving my stricken granny inside the tropical nature study.
