The weekend painfully dragged by as the boring-mind-numbing-brain labour-would-rather-be-sleeping-place (aka school) started up again and after being El's safety blanket, she left to return home finally on Monday as we returned to school.
We had found out not long after El was heart-broken by Tyler, that he kissed another girl because he was drunk and his bitchy ex forced herself onto him, and like any drunken guy (or any sober guy for that matter) he didn't say no.
However, El wasn't in the forgiving stage just yet.
Tyler had been grovelling and begging for her back all week, but El was still almighty pissed because:
A-another girl, not to mention a complete slag, had been all over her guy.
B-he let it happen (even though El ran out just as Tyler pushed the skank in question off him).
But to make herself feel more equally revenged, she went to go and throw some eggs at Tyler's car or something.
I offered to join her, as any true friend would, but she said she would feel better doing it herself as some closure of what happened before she let herself forgive him.
I could see right through my best friend, and I could tell that whilst she was pissed now, she'd be back with Tyler by the end of the week. Their just perfect together, it's obvious their in love with each other.
Whilst things were playing out for El, I was not so lucky. I hadn't been able to contact or see Jason since that day by the tree.
I had returned the day after to see if he had come back again, but all I found were a bunch of flowers, consequently my favourite, which was weird because not many people came/knew about the tree.
Yes, even if Jason had turned up (which he might not have) and he brung flowers (which I doubted he would) he wouldn't know my favourite flower, he's not a mind reader.
Regardless, I took them home all the same. It was obvious they weren't grave flowers or anything that would be disrespectful if I took them, just another pair of lovers remains.

When Friday rolled around, El let Tyler pick the pieces up (as predicted) and allowed him to take her out for a make-up date.
It was nice seeing El happy again, and letting Tyler make things up to her.For most girls, they might have just broke up with Tyler, or forgave him and moved on.
But for El it was harder.
She had loved Tyler since day one of high school, and it was so cute that a tedious 7 years later they finally plucked up the courage to ask each other out, as it turned out that how El felt about Tyler was mutual.
It was like watching a fairytale romance, watching them together, so El couldn't just let Tyler slip away, and Tyler couldn't loose El.
At the, (in perspective) ,rather young age of 17/18 that they were, I could see them getting married one day...
They really have both found 'the one'.
Anyway, whist the power couple worked things out, I was meeting my two other might-as-well-be-siblings- Zac and Georgie on the hill soon.
The four of us, (El, me, Zac and Georgie) had been practically siblings since birth.
Our parents went to the same mother and child/ NCT/antenatal or whatever you call them, classes before we were born, and naturally we had all become best friends through childhood and growing up.
Zac and Georgie had been on a revising for A-levels house arrest, and when they weren't at their private school, they were at home revising.
But it wasn't their parents keeping them on house arrest-it was the nerds themselves (I know-how sad!).
