Percy has a bad time

Percy stumbled in the rain clutching his side.  His blood stained his shirt red. The lights on the apartment building in front of him blurred and danced in front of him making him even dizzier.

"No", he said shaking his head. He had to keep going. If he stopped to rest on the side of the road, there's no way he'd be able to get up again.

One step forward. And another. And another. He moved in a trance like state, concentrating on one thing; forward movement. Time seemed to stagnate. The lights were getting closer, he was pretty sure, but he couldn't really trust his vision completely.

Flump.

Dazed, Percy tried to get his bearings. One moment he was taking a step, and the next moment, his face was squashed into the concrete. He moved to get up but his side screamed in pain as he strained against gravity. Finally, he collapsed in a heap, panting and fighting off the darkness in his vision.

Suddenly, a pair of black converse appeared in his line of site.

Through his blurred and dampened vision, a recognizable aviators jacket above him glistened in the rain.

"Ni-co", Percy breathed out.

Even when he was worried, Nico held an intimidating expression.  He crouched down and prodded Percy's side; his face scrunched up in concentration. Nico's pale skin gleamed in the moonlight giving him a ghostly, angelic presence. Like a vampire, Percy thought.

Instead of sucking his blood though, Nico grabbed his arms to pull him up. Percy slumped forward with practically no strength to hold himself up. The sudden change in position him woozy and his surroundings began to fade as Nico pulled him over his shoulders into a fireman's carry. Instead of walking towards the building though, Nico took a step and their surroundings changed. The concrete morphed into hardware floors and Percy finally gave into unconsciousness.

Percy opened his eyes and with a start, realizing he was in an unfamiliar place. In a panic, he tried to leap to his feat, but his limbs were so heavy he only succeeded in flailing around.

"Hey, don't try to get up",  Nico grabbed his shoulders and pushed him down. "You've lost a lot of blood".

Percy examined his surroundings. He was lying on a couch in the middle of an apartment, very similar to his own. His shirt was gone and his side was heavily bandaged. There was an IV going into the crook of his arm. Nico sat in a chair next to him, scowling and fumbling with the IV stand.

"Di imortales, Percy. You almost knocked over your saline", Nico grumbled.

Once the initial shock of waking in an unfamiliar place wore off, Percy felt the aching toll of his wounds settle in. He winced in pain.

"I found you face down on the concrete. You broke your nose and gave yourself a concussion. Not to mention the large hole in your side. You're on Will's strict orders of rest for now."

"Ah." Percy felt the thick bandages on his face for the first time. "I'm pretty sure I face planted. Where is Will anyway?"

"He should be coming home soon. He had a shift at the hospital. I made him pick up some groceries for dinner on his way home, too."

As if on cue, the door opened and in waltzed Will Solace in all of his cheerful glory. He was dressed in scrubs and carrying a bag of groceries.

"Hey! You're awake!" Will set the groceries down and made his way over to the pair. "How long has he been up?" He asked Nico.

"Just about a minute. How was work?" Nico asked.

"Pretty relaxed. I was actually able to sleep a bit between calls."
