July 14, 1657.
Today, just like another normal day, I was walking my way to school. Except, this time, I was going to a new school, a better one that too. I had finished my primary education as they call it. It was finally time for me to learn magic.
"This excitement!" I said to myself. Though it was true that I wanted to learn magic and all...I still knew I wouldn't be able to do much. Since I don't really have a Spirit as the ones with a great power of magic would do...well I was sure I can still manage a bit without a Spirit though.
As I was nearing my destination, I was starting to get goosebumps.
"Whoaaa...thats actually pretty big!" Since I was a child, I always lived in a village at just the border of the kingdom of Spectre.
"I have never seen a building this big before!" I said.
"Hey look at that fool over there talking to himself! I bet he's one of those commoners. Filth." a tall guy with a pretty irritating voice said.
"Hey! Jose, that's rude! Don't say that." a short girl who was walking with him said.
I hid myself around in embarrassment and pretended that I hadn't heard them, and entered the meeting hall of the school.
All the students gathered here, for the grand welcome by the president of Spectire, the organization that owned this school. This answered my question of why the school was named "Grand Magic High of Spectire". Those guys sure are bad at naming. I thought, letting out a gentle smug.
"GOOD MORNING, BLOOMING BUDS OF MAGIC HIGH SPECTIREE!!!!" a man with a large figure shouted into the mic. He was the president.
After a really long and tiring speech by the president, we were lead to our respective classrooms. I was put into 3-B. There were 3 sections in which the students were divided. The 1st one was for the Nobles. The 2nd one was for the commoners who held Spirits, the 3rd being for the ones that neither had noble blood nor Spirits. Which was why, I was in 3-B.
Though, I had already prepared myself for this type of discrimination, it was still quite the hard thing to take in.
After that, our magic teacher, taught us about spirits and magic forms.
She demotivated us a lot by saying that since we didn't have spirits, there was no hope for us. But still we could learn about magic forms.
"There are 5 types of magic forms.
Triangle magic form, has the least defensive and offensive ability.
Pentagon magic form, isn't much of a improvement from the triangle.
The septagon magic form, is much better in terms of speed and offense.
The nonagon, is a lot better in pretty much everything."In this blunt way, we were taught. None of the teachers really tried to actually teach us. Since we were hopeless. Though most of us still could grasp what was going on.
She continued. "However, the circle magic form, isn't something anyone can achieve. At all. Even the president is only a Septagon user. Anyways, since you all can hardly compute the pentagon, I doubt you all need to know that."
