Cave of Minerva [2]

After a long, tiresome day, I went on home. I decided to go to my "lone hangout spot" and not return home for sometime, since, my uncle wouldn't care anyways. I don't have parents, so my aunt and uncle take care of me.

"Here it is!" I reached there, the Cave of Minerva, as I would call it because of all the oliver trees and owls that would appear frequently around it.

I entered in.

I looked around and saw all the normal scene I was used to, unusual rocks and random fragments of wood... water dripping from above. All of this, to me, a funny and soothing scene.

Suddenly...?

All of that...

Led up to this single moment.

--- THE PRESENT. ---

Suddenly, a strange and bright purple light shone infront of me.

I opened my eyes to see... the cave had expanded.

It's all dry. The rocks, now purple-ish...

The wood is all black.

This sudden convert, scared me just a bit. Still maintaining myself, I wandered further ahead into the expansion of the cave.

As I entered deep into this creepy dungeon which seemed to be going downhill... I felt this, strange and strong energy. The deeper I went, the stranger I felt. The rocks on the boundaries of the caves now started to become more purple-ish with a slight hint of red.

It looked just like...

The Underworld.

Cold chills went up and down my spine, it was unbearable. This fear. This feeling.

Then, at that moment, I saw two spiders, crawling towards me freakishly. Though they seemed harmless, they still creeped me out.

They flung onto my arm, in an instant. I started to swing my arm around hardly in hopes of shaking them all off. They didn't budge at all. I tried harder. However it wasn't of any use. I panicked and slammed my hand onto the walls hard, getting rid of them.

"Filthy and creepy." I said.

"What in the world even was that?!" At this point, I was starting to reconsider the idea of wandering farther inside this...wormhole of mysteries.

I still decided to continue despite of this because, well, I had nothing better to do and I hate to admit it but this was quite interesting.

Since I was pretty sure I would stumble upon such "dangerous" creatures, I found myself a branch of wood, half burnt away and a unusual stone to make myself the best weapon, well atleast in this scenario -- a stone age axe.

And then I continued down. Just as my hunch said, I saw a group of bats with weird patterns on their wings fly away in what looked like fear. As for me, they seemed to either ignore me or they hadn't sensed me at all.

At this part, it was all pitch red with a mix of purple.

Finally, I found myself in what seemed like the final part of this endless maze.

It was a frighteningly large dome. The ceiling seemingly had a shiny look that reflected the ground.

"What is this..?" I said looking at the ground with a somewhat familiar pattern.

"Wai--" the ground started shaking violently. Then, the light I saw at the entrance flashed me again. This time, giving birth to a body or should I say... a Spirit.
