My mind was beating faster than normal as I stiffened due to the tap on my back

"asshole what are you doing here" his voice brought me relief as I was thinking it was one of the guards

"I am trying to hear what they are talking about my family" I whispered and pressed my ear closer to the door

"you all know my son has the final say because he is the leader, so no going against his order, let the Knight be"  the old hot man said

"I would agree with that" another familiar voice spoke up and I felt Dax tensed up beside me

"are you thinking what I am thinking" I asked him and he nodded

"it's best we form an alliance with them and get better power with them" again another mf familiar voice and Dax couldn't hold it anymore the idiot opened the door

The idiot Dax just put me behind him hiding me, damn him for putting us in a dangerous situation and saving me

taking a peak from his body I saw several guns pointed at him and I notice a guard about to pull the trigger and before anybody could stop the guard I had already push him away from the bullet

I wasn't quick enough to leave causing a graze on my left hand and that hurt, another gun shot in just a month

"shit, you idiot couldn't you just stay in one place" I cursed at Dax and when he was quiet I looked up to see the faces of the people in the room and my jaw fell on the ground

Luke, Cole and James where in the room

what the fuck, they were the enemy all this while

I fucking knew it, thier voices were overly familiar

"Kill them at once" The bald man said

"stop, don't move an inch" it was the old hot man talking

"so after all you all were still liars" Dax said brokenly and I saw tears dropping from his eyes and it hurt me to see him cry

All my years of knowing Dax he had never cried in front of me before

I was angry at every one of them especially Luke, he was the closest to Dax among the boys and yet didn't tell him, feeling enraged I walked towards him and with him not expecting I kneeled him where the sun doesn't shine

"owwww" he groaned in pain falling on his knees while the guards raised their guns on me

"drop it" Cole ordered the guards while I just gave him the stink eye

"and you" I said  walking towards his direction and repeated the same action and when I turned to James he has already ran away from there

"Hey miss, I don't think it's nice of you to come and start depriving the boys of their ability to reproduce" a man that looks similar to Cole said

"shut it Damon, I like this girl already" The woman who I guess is Luke mum said

I turned to look at Dax and I saw he was still crying, wrapping my hands around him I tried to  pet him like he use to do to me glaring at everyone in the room

"why are you not scared" another one of the men said and I stiffened but relaxed anyways

"shut up, I am trying to stop my brother from crying" I said shhing the man and he looked at me with surprise

"wait he is your brother, now can you explain to me how you sneaked into the most secured warehouse we have and then you showed up with Dax" Jeremy said as he was the only one thinking right at the moment and I think, and that flickered a bulb into the rest head
