Skylar to the car now" my dad voice boomed angrily and I felt chills down my spine

my dad has never been this angry with me before, I looked up to meet his eyes and I saw nothing but pure anger and then  quickly looked down ashamed to meet him in the eyes anymore

I turned my gaze to Max and he was just as surprised as me, he gave me the signal to just heed to dad's word

facing the door I proceeded to leave before Liam stopped me

"I strongly suggest she stays since she was here at the beginning and at least maybe she would be able to convince you to agree to the alliance" Liam say
"my daughter isn't going to be part of anything associated with the Mafia" my dad screamed and his face was scarlet red by now

" I think she is already in the mafia cause she sneaked into our most secured warehouse without being caught" Amelia says

they are making this matter ten times worse as dad turned to look at me briefly then turned his gaze back

"shall we get down to business" Luke said with a smirk on his face

"Wow your daughter is such a beauty, I would love to have her as mine" the man from earlier that wanted to ask for hand in marriage said, my dad growled and brought his gun out but Liam beat him to it and shot the man on his shoulder

"she is off limits, and never behave like that towards any other girl again, she is old enough to be your daughter and you already have a wife, Nicholas have some shame" he said after shooting him, my dad has a look of surprise in his face and he eyes held respect

"let's strike a deal then" my dad said taking a sit

the meeting went well surprisingly but dad has refused to look at me in the eyes, Max was giving me silence treatment, the tension in the car was thick that a knife could be sliced through it

"dad I am sorry" I said from my heart as guilt was eating me up, he didn't even blink an eye at me, he continued with his phone

"drop her at the college" Max said to the driver, wow what a way to avoid me

I know how to make this people stop being angry with me, but it's also going to put my life in danger

sometimes my sickness comes as a blessing in disguise even if it's not a good thing

"I want to go home" I said with finality in my tone and the driver turned to look at us, my brother gave him approval

upon getting home, a body guard opened my side of the door for me and I got down, meh lately I have been missing school a lot, I pray I end up graduating with the perfect degree cause my years of seeing blood and being in the hospital should finally pay off

I got into the house and my mum embraced me Into a tight hug

" where were you, hope you are not hurt" she was examining me before she saw dried blood on my arm, shit I forgot that

"you are shot, 2nd time in a month, like we need to call the doctor, just pray it isn't infected" she was hyperventilating by now

my dad gaze turned to my injury and the next thing I heard was crashing of vase, that beautiful architect was gone

"if only you could have listened to me and stop being a brat then all these couldn't have happened, couldn't you stop being stubborn for once, all my life I have tolerated you but today you seem to cross the finish line, just get out of my sight" my dad was booming and the more he spoke my heart was breaking at every word
