It has been four days since Baseball has joined the rest and man, is he annoying, he would just cry non stop, and Mephone has no idea why, he has fed him, shushed him and pat his big little head but nothing stopped him.

It was 1:00 am in the morning and all the kids started whining due to getting woken up, Mephone now awake too slowly got over to the child cage and surprise, surprise.

It was Baseball... Crying, Mephone sighed.

Lightbulb made a shushing motion to Baseball.

"Shush boll!" She grumpily told, the phone couldn't help but lightly chuckle, she has been copying him as of late, it was kind of funny.

Mephone spawned in a milk bottle and placed it in the ball's mouth, though he refused it.

"Not hungry? Maybe you want some affection?" Mephone patted the ball's cheek which stopped him crying a little, until out of no where Baseball bit Mephone's finger.

Mephone yelped and yanked his finger out making the ball go back to sobbing. "No! Bad Baseball! You don't bite!" The phone scolded, he started rolling the ball.

"I think you need to go to the calm down corner!"

After rolling him there he went back to check on all the tots, Lightbulb and Oj were slowly going back to sleep but Paper decided to crawl out of bed to play with the rubber ball, the phone walked up to him, the piece of paper looked at the looming mephone added with a ball in his mouth.

"Come on Paper, bedtime." He picked up the youngster putting him back on the pillow. "And I will need this back." He took the ball out of the paper's mouth which made him wail loudly, Mephone yelped and blocked his ears, he quickly put the ball back down.

"Fine! Fine, keep it!" Paper immediately stopped screaming and happily nommed his comfort item, the phone gave a relieved sigh.

'It's been a while since I checked that baby book, maybe it might tell me what's wrong with Basseball...'

He went to the shack and opened up the book reading through it.

Baby fact 365:

Some babies that cry a lot sometimes need a comfort item, like a stuffie or a pacifier.

A pacifier?

He didn't know if it would help but he spawned one in and started approaching the ball.

'I hope this works.' Baseball was still crying non stop, Mephone then shoved the dummy into his mouth making the ball stop crying out of suprise, he gave it a few sucks.

'Please work, please work, please work-' He thought over and over again, Baseball sunk himself in slowly closing his eyes before laying back.

Finally asleep.

Mephone stood there taken back, he quietly cheered and tiptoed away.

He walked back to his shack going past the others until he felt some caught his leg, he looked down.

It was lightbulb clinging onto him, Mephone groaned and tried get her off. "Come on, it's sleep time!" She didn't listen and tighten her grip.

"Wee!" She giggled, she started to crawl up to his chest. "Me-fone!" The phone kept trying to shoo her off but she just kept climbing up to his fast until.

She slipped.

"LIGHTBULB!"

Right before she hit the ground he caught her, it was really close too because she was gonna land head first, slowly he lifted her up to head level, despite all this she just giggled as if this was all a game.

Mephone gave a relieved sigh but gave her a stern look. "You better not do that again, you hear me." Despite the angry look the light reached out to his face to try and hug him, he sighed and put her back down. She pouted, reaching her hands up to him.

"No, I am not sleeping next to you again." He told, although he probably shouldn't because her eyes started to well up with some tears, she was about to cry, Mephone panicked and quickly sat down beside her.

"No no! I'll sleep next to you, look!" the light slowly stopped her tears and smiled, she crawled up to the phone going under his arm and cuddled into his chest.

Mephone gave a huff but pressed her into his embrace, then he felt some touch his leg, he looked up seeing Paper and Oj crawling towards him and going under his arm to.

The phone gave a annoyed look. "What am I, a cuddlebug?" Either way he let them sleep next to him, he switch to sleep mode and finally.

Everyone slept that night.
