Chapter Summary: They arrive at Sungjin's family's vacation house, and Sungjin sees something that tugged at his heart.

--

"Hyung, didn't you come from Busan? Why do you have a vacation house in your hometown?" Wonpil questioned.

"This is your vacation house? It looks like a whole ass mansion, Sungjin," Jaehyung said.

"It's too small for a mansion," Sungjin retorted.

"But look how luxurious it is," Wonpil said in awe as he looked at the white building that stood tall in front of them.

It was a two-story house, painted all white and accented with black. The windows were tinted so they can't see the inside. By the looks of it, it probably has an attic too. Unlike their house back in Seoul, this one doesn't have any gates or fences.

Probably because it's already in the middle of somewhere. It looks like it's in a forest, near a river with a waterfall. Since it was near winter, the breeze was cold, added by the surrounding trees. The water on the river was cold too, of course.

Sungjin led them to the front door and stuck the key in. He looked through the peephole with his right eye as he turned the key. The door opened and two dogs came running to him, barking. Sungjin smiled and crouched down, letting the two furry pets tackle him. Yeojin and Chan came to pet them as well.

"You have dogs in your vacation house?" Jackson questioned.

"They look healthy though," Jinyoung muttered.

"Where is he?" Sungjin chuckled.

"Probably asleep," Yeojin said.

"Sangyoon-ssi!" Sungjin called as he stood up to walk further into the house, ushering the rest of them to enter.

"Hyung, did you know I'm allergic to dogs?" Jaebeom asked. "They weren't here the last time we came."

"Me too," Youngjae raised his hand.

"They're hypoallergenic," Sungjin replied, glancing at them before putting his bag down on the ground by the couches in the living room. "They've always been in our grandparents' house. They brought them here just recently."

Jaebeom and Youngjae instantly played with the two dogs, Youngjae on the schnauzer and Jaebeom on the Coton de Tulear. The inside looked more luxurious and Wonpil and Dowoon instantly went around to look and explore.

"Sangyoon —"

"What?!" a man emerged from a hallway on the second floor, his right hand in the middle of running through his hair while his left hand was stuffed in his shorts' pocket.

"Yah, did you know we were coming?" Sungjin questioned as he accepted the hand hug from the man.

"Yeah. Didn't Jaejin-nim tell you to message me if you're near so I can clean up a bit?" Sangyoon yawned.

"No," Sungjin frowned.

"Well, he should have," Sangyoon grabbed Sungjin's shoulders and slumped against his back, eyes closing sleepily.

"Yah, get off. I'm hungry," Sungjin said, tapping Sangyoon's arms that were on his neck.

"What do you want?" Sangyoon sighed and moved over to Yeojin to do the same.

"I want chicken, oppa," Yeojin answered. "And fried rice."

"That's good for me," Sungjin nodded in agreement.

"Chan, you want anything?" Sangyoon called.

"Fried chicken," Chan grinned.

"Hm. And what about the rest of you?" Sangyoon got off Yeojin and turned to the rest of the group.
