Chapter Summary: Younghyun finally hangs out with his circle of friends and becomes Sungjin's shoulder to lean on.

--

For the rest of their university years, it would either be Younghyun going to the library to accompany Sungjin, or Sungjin going to the secluded clearing to accompany Younghyun. Either of them would just sleep while the other stayed beside them.

Sometimes, both of them would sleep. The others, more like Yeojin and Chan, figured out they were hanging out in the clearing, so they sometimes joined them. Lately, they've been coming over. Like today, they were all there together.

"Yah, oppa," Yeojin threw her pen at Sungjin, and the older glared when it hit him on the chest, earning soft chuckles from everyone else.

Sungjin threw back the pen and Yeojin caught it, "What?"

"Let's go on our vacation house this winter break," Yeojin grinned.

Sungjin raised a brow while the rest of them agrees, "Do mom and dad know?"

"Yeah, they said we can if we want. They'll have you in charge. Dad will ask his colleagues to let us borrow a van or something, a minibus depending on the quantity," Yeojin said.

"You're good!" Youngjae cackled.

"Yeojin's always ready," Bambam remarked.

"I don't want to drive —"

Jaebeom hit him on the abdomen, "Everyone can drive and has a license except the high school kids. Let us drive if you don't want."

"You didn't need to hit me," Sungjin snapped at him.

Jaebeom only grinned.

"Brian can't drive," Jaehyung spoke up.

Younghyun shrunk back a little when every head turned toward him, every pair of eyes looking at him.

"I mean, he doesn't have a license," Jaehyung added. "So, he still technically can't."

"That's okay. That doesn't mean he can't come," Sungjin shrugged. "Should we go?"

Everyone yelled in agreement. Sungjin nodded and blinked before looking down at Younghyun.

"Your name is Brian?" Sungjin asked.

"In English, yeah," nodded Younghyun.

Sungjin hummed loudly.

"Hyung, where did you get that ring? I thought you don't like wearing rings?" Chan pointed at Sungjin's hand, directing everyone's attention to it.

"Isn't that yours, Brian?" Jaehyung questioned before lunging toward Sungjin, grabbing his shirt. "Did you take that from him?!"

"Why do you always accuse me!" Sungjin complained before pushing the older one off him. "He doesn't want to take it back!"

"I gave that to him; will you calm your ass?" Younghyun pulled back Jaehyung by his arm.

"Didn't eomeonim buy that for you and told you to keep it until you fall in love?" Jaehyung reminded as he sat back down between Wonpil and Dowoon. "Like, you can take it off if you finally fall in love because the absence of it will remind you that you're loving someone."

Everything turned quiet, with everyone staring at Younghyun and waiting for him to speak.

"Hyung, you like someone?" Wonpil asked with a small voice.

"No," Younghyun mumbled, and Sungjin knew he was lying so he stared him down and the younger looked away from him. "I don't like someone. I just wanted him to keep it."
