The Return.
Part 1

••••••••••

Sebastian is like every other city teen from the 80s. Rebellious, sarcastic and overall extremely annoying. However annoying in the way you can't help but be his friend. Other than the time he got caught stealing skittles from a local corner shop he keeps out of trouble (is what his father thought) but after he got caught in the janitors closet smoking pot with one of his old classmates his dad shipped him off to Hawkins to live with his mom and brother.

As excited as he was to meet the family he hadn't seen for 5 years his mum knows why he was there, so he's definitely going to be grounded for a year at least. When he was taken to move with his dad Dustin was only about 8 years old so Sebastian ,or 'Seb' as everyone called him, wouldn't be surprised if his brother hardly remembered him. He doesn't blame him when they were younger they weren't that close however the older Henderson was determined to change that. He wouldn't  like to be one of those shitty older brothers who ignored his younger sibling/s all day and only spoke to his family at dinner. Anyways I digress.

Sebastian stepped out of the taxi suitcase and bags in hand and stared at his old one story family home. He remembered how he used to play in the garden with his old dog and friends. He wondered how his friends were doing. I mean he hasn't seen Jonathan, Nancy or Barb since he was 12. Apparently Jonathan's younger brother William went missing last year so he probably wasn't doing to good. But he hasn't heard from Nancy since he left or Barb.

Before he could even raise his aching hand to knock on the door it flung open revealing his mother who squealed.

"Aw honey I haven't seen you in so long." She hugged him so tightly he dropped his stuff "Oh my god look how much you've grown"

The woman finally let the poor boy go.  "Hello mom" he was trying his best to catch his breath. "Come in come in please. Your old room is just how we left it and I already put some of your boxes in it. Sadly Dustin isn't here he is at the arcade with his friends but he was so excited to know you were coming home!" His mother was very good at rambling. Like too good. Probably where he got his ability to waffle on for hours from.

"Nice thanks mom" he skipped to his old room and she was right it was exactly how he left it. A mess. Old clothes were scattered around the floor and there were plates and cups still on his desk that had piles of mold growing in it. He gagged from the sheer smell of it.
'That is fucking disgusting' he thought. Then he walked over to his old trophy cabinet the shelves were packed with swimming and track trophies from when he used to participate in such sport daily. Now however he only did gym class and lifting weights in his spare time.

Now was time for the activity he hates most. Cleaning. Normally he'd just leave his room a mess because it would be messy in a few days again anyway. But the whole new fucking ecosystems growing in the plates and clothes on the floor from when he was 12 were practically begging to be cleaned so reluctantly he gave in.

He began to tackle it by throwing moldy plates and bowls  out his window because no amount of cleaning could save that monstrosity. Then he picked up all his old clothes and dumped them in Dustin's room since he was 13 close enough to 12 maybe he'd want them. The room was looking a little better already but not quite done. So he ripped off the Star Wars posters off of the wall and packed all of his old figurines and toys into a box. Maybe Dustin would appreciate that too, so he put the box in his brothers room as well.
