༺♱༻Abel: Come to my office ASAP
I peeked my eyes open before picking up my phone and reading the text. For the past few days, I've been staying in one of Abel's guest rooms. He's given me access to his cars, his money, and unlimited clothing and food.
He keeps explaining how dumb he feels for burning down something that special to me, but I really hate hearing it. I've calmed down a lot more lately, and I do not feel like a killing spree any longer, so I guess that's a good thing.
I showered and clothed myself before heading to Abels office. I knocked three times before slowly twisting the knob and entering.
Abel sat at his desk, filling out papers and typing on his computer. He looked beautiful. His hair was perfectly styled and his suit was pe-
"Good morning." he suddenly said, interrupting my thoughts. "How'd you sleep."
I cleared my throat and sat down in front of his desk, "Good I guess."
He eyed my freshly showered state and swallowed, "I see you showered." he clarified, "You smell nice."
I tilted my head and bit and raised a brow, "Thank you?"
He let out a breath before shutting his computer. I crossed my arms over my chest, "What is it?"
He looked at me, "We have wedding planning tomorrow at noon. Clear your schedule. Today you and I are going shopping, so you can make yourself at home here."
I raised a brow, "But where would my room be?"
"There's 30 rooms in this house for Christ sake. You'll find one somewhere. Now go get ready. You're not wearing that." he looked down at my outfit.
I looked down at my shirt, "What's wrong with my outfit?" I raised a brow.
"You're not wearing a tshirt and those tiny little shorts for anyone but me."

So I changed my outfit and we are now sitting in one of Abel's cars. There is an awkward silence until we exit the gates. A black van follows behind us with a few of Abel's capo to keep a lookout for us.
"Do you even like your job?" Abel asks, breaking the silence. I look at him, a small shock on my face, I don't even know how to answer this question, so I try my best.
"It's not ideal." I tell him. "I wouldn't have picked it if I had a choice."
He glances at me and then back to the road, "You seem so much in your head all of the time. Like there's too much on your shoulders." he says. "Like you'd rather be anywhere else but here on Earth."
I cut him off before he says another word, "We aren't talking about this."
He sighs before looking down at the ring on my finger. I suddenly feel self conscious. "Please do not look at me." I mumble.
