Suddenly the black of a very dark and cruel night enveloped me. Everything hurt and burned . My body felt numb, yet I felt all this pain, even the terrible stinging in my bones did not stop.
Panic spread through me, because exactly one second ago I was skating around the city in broad daylight with my closest friends - I didn't know where I was anymore. It couldn't have gone pitch black so suddenly. Where had twilight been or sunset? The sunlight had disappeared from one second to the next. Just like that. Time passed, many minutes flew by and not a single ray of sunlight appeared. I tried to fight it, but it was useless. The more time I spent here in this darkness, the harder it became to breathe. My throat felt as if someone was tightening a rope around my neck and not letting go.
Finally my breathing stopped .
That was it! That was my end! I would never see the light again. This cruel night is the end of me.

The first chapter is relatively short because I wanted to put this part of the story at the beginning. I honestly don't really know why or what for, but....
...now a question for you guys: How did you like this part? What could I improve?
It's the first time after years (5 years to be exact haha) that I try to write stories again. I had many ideas for a story, but never got around to it. Anyway, I appreciate any criticism!:)
