I wake up to the sounds of birds chirping and see that I'm alone in bed. I look around the room and see the Xbox controller laying on the bedside table and I smile softly. I quickly get up as I remember the thought of me seeing my father and my brother again.
I get dressed and then I run downstairs and into the kitchen only to bump into a hard body, making me slip. Warm hands catch my body and I get pulled up and look up to see a man holding me.
I quickly pull away from the man and stare at him in surprise and worry. Who is this man, why is he in our house?
"Who are you?" I ask quietly. The man starts to laugh at me and rolls his eyes. I put my hand on my hips and glare at him until he stops laughing. The man wipes away a few tears and he smiles brightly at me.
"I can't believe my own sister wouldn't recognise me." He says happily and I gape at him in shock. I start to cry loudly.
"Dylan!" I yell before jumping into his arms, him catching me and he holds me tightly to his chest, running his hand up and down my back to sooth me. I hear a chuckle and through my watery eyes as I turn around I see a very blurry looking Daniel smiling over at me.
We continue to hold onto each other before Daniel lets out a low growl and comes closer, pulling me away from Dylan.
"Okay, that's enough," I look over and pout at him. Daniel looks at me , his eyes darkening in happiness and lust. He gently lowers his head and gives me a quick peck on the lips. I smile at him before he gestures to move outside, "do you want to see your father." I gasp and I try to run outside but Daniel keeps me back and I frown over at him.
"It's not safe, baby." He says gently before scooping me up in his arms. I pout yet again and I watch as Daniel walks outside and he sets me down on the grass gently.
"Why is it not safe?" I ask him and he looks down at me.
"You could have run too fast and fell, you could have run in the wrong direction and you would have ended up on the wrong territory." Daniels eyes start to darken in anger at the thought of me hurt so I put my arm on his shoulder, trying to comfort him the best I can.
Daniel smiles at me lovingly before turning me around to face the forest and I gasp as a much rougher, beaten looking man enters my vision and I gasp happily before running over to him.
"Dad!" I yell before hugging the man tightly. He pulls away quickly and frowns at me.
"Uh, I'm not your dad." He says to me and I turn around and face Daniel and Dylan to see them trying not to laugh. I blush red before muttering a sorry to the red faced man. Another man enters from the forest and I turn around to see if it is my father and both boys nod.
"Daddy!" I yell and jump onto him, laughing and giggling with happiness. Father laughs with me and he hugs me tight to him, walking back towards Daniel and Dylan.
"So what's this about you calling another man, Dad?" He asks me laughing and I slap his chest pouting. Daniel laughs at me while Dylan rolls over the floor laughing at my honest mistake that I made.
Dad then studies me quietly before he smiles widely.
"You have grown to be a beautiful little lady, my dear daughter." He says before quietly hugging me. I hug him back and I see over his shoulder Daniel talking with the man from earlier who I assumed was my father. Daniel begins to frown enormously and I wiggle out of my fathers arms and I begin to trot over to Daniel.
Daniel snaps his head from the man to me as I approach him and I hold my arms up, asking to be carried. Daniel chuckles lightly before picking me up and pecking my forehead.
"So why are you frowning?" I ask him and he looks over at me before turning to look over at my father and brother.
"Excuse us gentlemen but I must have a word with my mate." He says before pulling me inside. As we walk inside Jack walks towards us and sniffs the air before he smiles happily. Daniel nods at him.
"Your mate is outside." Jack growls angrily.
"Without me,unprotected?" He says before running outside growling loudly. I turn to face Daniel as he walks up the stairs and towards our bedroom.
"When we first met," I say to him and he looks over at me, "you were so possessive of me and you made me depend on you for everything, what happened?" I ask him curiously and he chuckles at my question.
"Trust me, baby, I'm still possessive and protective over you, but I'm giving you some space but for now we need to talk." He says while pushing the door open and then closing it, setting me down on the bed.
"Baby, as you know now it's been a month since I have known you and the thing is is we need to mate." Daniel finishes uncertainly and he gazes up at me. I look down at the floor, knowing my answer. I have known him for a month and I know how lucky I am to have such a loving mate who is protective and possessive.
"Okay." I say to him, gazing in his eyes. His eyes darken extremely and he tackles me on the bed. I squeal and he then stops and cups my chin.
"Slow," He reminds himself before telling me something else, "oh and baby, once we finish the mating process I'll be even more protective and possessive." I roll my eyes at him and lead him towards me lips.
"I love you." He mutters against my lips. I smile.
"I love you to." I say happily before we finally complete the mating process, no regrets.
