▬▬ CASSIE HAD THE WINDOWS down and her radio cranked and she made her way to Paul's house. She had missed driving, mostly because she got to blare her music and sing as loudly as she wanted without someone complaining. It was the freedom of it all that she really missed though, she liked not having to wait for someone to pick her up or having to rely on someone to take her where she needed to go. But she kept a close watch on her speed and on her surroundings, and she had buckled her seat belt, she was being extra careful.
When she pulled up to Paul's house, parking next to his truck, she was singing along to the Plain White T's Hey There Delilah. She shut the truck off, still singing, as she got out of the truck. She smiled when she saw Paul making his way towards her, his brows creased.
"Jake fixed my truck." She smiled, holding her hands out towards the truck as if showing it off and he laughed stopping in front of her, leaning down to place a kiss against her lips and her smile grew as she pushed up onto her toes a little. Pushing against him for a second before she dropped to her heels.
"Glad you made it in one piece." He joked and she rolled her eyes, shoving him backwards then she turned and made her way to the bed of the truck to get her bags, he followed. "I got it." He told her, reaching over her to grab the duffle and the book bag then he lifted them as if they were nothing when she had been struggling with them not too long ago.
"Thanks." She hummed, standing on her toes to place another kiss to his lips and he grinned.
"Anything else?"
"Just my pillow. Which I think I can handle." She told him as she made her way to the passenger side door, she pulled it open and grabbed the pillow and the lights then the two made their way towards the house. "Are you nervous?" She asked, looking over her shoulder as they walked through the house. "About everything?"
"Not really." He shrugged. "I'm more nervous about something happening to you."
"I'm not even gonna be there." Her brows creased as she dropped her pillow onto his bed and turned to him as he dropped her bags on the bed.
