Chapter 12:

There was a loud knock on my door, I rolled over to see what time it was. My clock flashed 7:00am.

"Come in." I growled

"Hey Brooke." Ashton smiled

"Hey, this is a rare thing to see, you like never come into my room." i laughed nervously knowing something was up

"Oh no just wanted to see you." he smiled weakly

"Ash what's up?" I asked getting kinda scared

"Uh Luke he's missing." Ashton confessed

"Luke?!" I said and got out of bed

"Woah calm down, why are you getting up so fast?" he asked

I swallowed hard "I uh I like-" I stopped myself

"You like?" he laughed

"I like Luke okay? every time he's near me, I get this feeling in my stomach." I confessed

"Aw Brooke!" he smiled "That thing in your stomach is called butterflies."

"Ok back on topic, where do you think he went?" I asked

"We really don't know, I still know that he's upset at him self for slapping you yesterday though.

"He can't be blaming himself for that! I was the one who was misbehaving!" I sobbed

"Brooke, calm down we will find him." he cooed

"No Ashton this is my fault, I need to go find him."" I decided then rushed past Ashton and out the door

I don't get it, he was so happy yesterday and now he's probably off sulking. I walked to the park but I couldn't see very well because it was still dark, but I did see this figure in the distance. I walked closer to it then heard sobbing

"Luke?" I asked

"Brooke? Brooke baby what are you doing here? go back to bed babe." he said looking me right in the eyes

"No Luke, I'm sorry I've been misbehaving lately it's not your fault it's mine. Please forgive me." I said trying to hold back tears

"Brooke no, its mine, I shouldn't have hit you and I feel really bad please forgive me." he said letting out shaky sobs

"I forgive you." I said wiping tear from my eyes

"Now go back home, don't cry ether." he sighed but I shook my head

"No Luke, I'm not leaving you alone."

"Why? who wants to stay with me?" he chuckled half heartily

"I do, Luke every time I'm near you, I have butterflies in my stomach that I can't get rid of, I really like you Luke." I smiled

"Really?" he asked and I nodded

"I feel the same way." he confessed

"Now come on, we can go cuddle, go in the pool or play hide and seek." I giggled

"Or tickle war."he laughed poking at my sides

"Yes." I giggled

"Do you want a piggyback?" he offered which I gladly took my feet were killing me

"Calum were home!!!!" I yelled just as a head popped up

"Great! just in time to play tickle the Brooklyn!" he smirked and Michael and Ashton popped out behind him

"No no no! this is not the time to play tickle the Brooklyn!" I said backing away from the four boys

"Get herr!" Michael yelled. I shrieked then ran out the door and down the street with them hot on my heels. I've never ran this fast in my life! what are they trying to do? make me die? Yes I just admitted I'm fat and lazy.

I ran around the block then headed back to the house. Once I made it back to the house, I ran into my room then opened my window, if they were going to follow me into my room. ( Which I knew they would) I would jump out the window and hopefully land in the pool. I was estimating my jump until I heard my door open from behind me

"Brooke? what are you doing?" Luke asked stepping forward

"Jumping!" I yelled shaking my bum then jumped

"Brooke!" I heard them shriek. and that was the last thing I heard until I hit the water, but I didn't come back up.
