This chapter is going to be sad, I got some inspiration while listening to "Let Me Down Slowly" by Alec Benjamin. So this chapter is going to be somewhat based on my interpretation of that.

Also, I'm not used to writing angst so be kind to my work :)
PS sorry it's short.

You came home from another long day of work, tired as usual. The house was abuzz with silence—your jacket finding its way onto its hook and your bag on the floor as you slowly walked over to the living room. Your coffee table was drowning in beer cans and many other alcoholic drinks. 'I'm sure that'll stain'  you sighed at the thought, turning away from the room. The shitty apartment walls shook as you stomped over to the bedroom. You knew that's where he would be.

Dabi must have heard you coming, as he opened the door and stumbled a couple of steps out of the room.

"Oh, it's you." Dabi turned shakily back and nearly tripped over himself while trying to get back to the bed.

"Yeah, Dabi, it's me. You know, your girlfriend? The one that pays the bills so we can stay in this apartment that you never clean up." You rolled your eyes and could tell he was drunk again - but you already knew that. Dabi groaned and turned back to you, now sitting on the edge of your shared bed.

"Can you not start a fight right now?" Dabi was even stumbling over his words. That's how you know he's really drunk. Dabi never gets this drunk. You pulled him up and dragged him into the bathroom. The water was cold at first, but it soon turned warm enough. You helped Dabi undress and get into the tub.

This was the easiest way, you've found, to help him when he was in this state.

After giving Dabi a bath, and helping him into some pajamas, you left to clean up the mess he had made.

Dabi soon came after you to help. Though, him standing in the corner of the room watching you clean wasn't very helpful.

It would be foolish to say you were anything less than furious. You worked all day to pay for this apartment, and all he does is trash it. And now he won't even help clean up his mess. You were aggressively throwing cans and bottles into a trash bag. While at the same time, frantically rambling to yourself.

You were so caught up in your rage that Dabi came up behind you and hugged you. You, of course, hugged him back. He was your boyfriend after all. The two of you swayed there for a few moments, then Dabi started kissing your neck and shoulder. He gave you a telling tug on the collar of your shirt, saying 'take this off', he was good at leaving hints rather than using his words.  You immediately pushed him away.

"Are you fucking serious right now?" You yelled at him, which is something you never do.

You could tell he was shocked by the look on his face. You knew you might regret it later but at the moment you were too enraged to care.

"Leave now, Dabi," You whispered while looking down at the dirtied hardwood floors, not wanting to see Dabi anymore. You didn't look back up until you heard a sigh and a door slam. You could feel the tears trying to force their way down your face, but you wouldn't let them.

This would be the last time you ever saw Dabi.

THE END

I'M BACK BITCHESSSSSSS. I hope you liked this, it wasn't my best work but honestly, it's okay. I'll try to write a better chapter for y'all next time :D
