It's the beginning of 2000. Their label offered them a lot of money to make a whole album and the duo already record about three songs that are going to be their promotional singles. Few months later, they would release "Autumn", which eventually become an independent hit across the countries and went to the Top 20. Having a lot support from the college radio community and John Peel. There are a lot of teenagers acrossed the US who has the twee culture sticking to their hearts and always handled listening parties. Their song would be their anthem. After the release of Autumn, the label wanted more. So, they got to release Dylan as their second promotional single for their upcoming album. Dylan topped #5 at the Independent Singles chart and went to the Top 20 again. It become the single of the week by the NME. In an interview, Amelia said that Dylan is basically a rip off of The Sea Urchins' Pristine Christine and very proud of saying it.

A lot of people would mistakenly referred the song as The Beatles because it's like the same. The Rosemaries aren't only the ones who help to shape the new generation of twee music but there is an act like Belle & Sebastian. The duo also help to shape the dream pop movement and showed it to the world.
Few weeks later, they would have gotten back to the recording studio and working on their upcoming second full-length album. The band would stripped down to their Leeds influences like Pale Saints, Cud, Boyracer and The Wedding Present. After restless hours of writing, arranging, mixing, editing, photoshooting, producing and making, they finally get to finish their second full-length album. They still want to keep on their first album with using a Greek title. The duo would use Valentinos which is valentine in Greece. It's also considered as one of the hottest releases in the beginning of 2000.

The album topped the charts across the world. It's also went to Japan. The Japanese critics described their music as neo-acoustic. The duo also take inspirations from sophisti-pop artists like Wet Wet Wet and Sade with the more jangly guitars. Their second full-length would topped #1 at the UK Album Charts and #1 at the UK Independent Singles Chart. They were also helped by the Post-Britpop tag and gained a huge worldwide fanbase. Sales went up and nearly sold about 1 million copies. The album also went to the US and topped at the Billboard Charts, thanks to Slumberland and college radio stations. Some radio stations are proud of what they become and also John Peel. The band also have a special Steve Lamacq session too. Songs like Thyme, Affection and Killer Whale become hits but Lovely Boy become their huge hit yet. The band would performed at the Top of the Pops. The duo wanted to give one of their influences the spotlight they deserve and covered one of The Popguns song called Where Do You Go? It also become a hit too and become a radio favorite in the US.
