|The disappearance of the girl| Chapter Eight

I looked out my window and heard Andrea and Shane talking about guns

I didn't really care though. No way Ginger would give me a gun unless it was an emergency.

I felt the RV stop driving and heard a sudden sound from the front. 

I looked out the windshield seeing smoke from the front.

Dale walked out of the RV as did everyone else.

"While we're here we can search these cars." Glenn stated holding his gun

I looked at Ginger seeing a disapproving look on her face. My eyes traveled to Lori seeing the same look.

"This is a grave yard." Lori said crossing her arms.

"I don't know know how I feel about this." Lori said getting a nod from Ginger

I rolled my eyes slightly. We needed this stuff. it's not like anyone was going to waist time searching while going to Atlanta

But we had a reason to be here. We had no camp. we we're going to Fort bening everyone knew that Shane had planed our route to go there to. he was going to rush us there so we where safe and not in harms way. we all knew this. I did have a sicking feeling in my stomach though that something was goning to happen. and not anything good either. something bad.

I searched one car finding some stuff that was completely useless. I sighed and walked to another car opening it and seeing some cans of food and bottles of clear sleek water.

I smirked picking them all up and heading to everyone until Rick came rushing to us saying get under the cars. 

I grabbed Sophia taking her under a car and covered her mouth while she covered mine. I looked ahead seeing Walkers shuffle past every car we where under.

I looked at one car seeing Carl staring at us as if he was worried. but another look on his face I couldn't place.

I looked back at Sophia and when the walkers cleared up she crawled out while I tried to bring her back under the car

I heard her shriek and run off into the woods. I crawled  out from under the car and saw Rick run into the woods.

I was held back by Carl from running in myself and helping Sophia.

"My dad's got this. Ginger does too she's going to be fine." he said turning me around and looking at me 

I nodded slightly and walked over to the railing by the woods and sat down on it looking... waiting

for Rick to bring her back. to bring back my friend

I saw Lori sit next to me and side hug me. i hugged her back scared for Sophia. I think we where all scared for her. 

I looked over seeing Rick come out of the woods with some blood on himself 

Carol looked at him and asked "Where is she?" I saw Ginger then step out of the woods and walk over to me hlding my shoulders "No matter what you stay by my side. understand?" she asked I nodded "Understood." I replied 

She nodded and side hugged me like Lori did. "She should be here." Rick replied 

"She never came up here." I said
