I'm not sure of what I see
Cupid don't fuck with me
Are you telling me this is a sign?

Aurelius closed the door of the office and sighed, relieved. Holy shit.

Miss Allende was scary. Judging by her tone and attitude she was not willing to tolerate bullshit and expected the best performance from him.

He was sure to be able to get the job done right. He just had to follow Miss D wherever she pleased, check for danger, protect her. Nothing he hadn't done before with other clients, in a more desperate situation than hers.

Footsteps echoed in the hallway as Vitali and Miss D were coming back from the walk, chatting and smiling like good old friends. A clear, strong laugh filled the corridor and reached Aurelius like a rumble. He never imagined a woman's voice could be so powerful.

«And what did you do?».

«Well, he wrote his phone number on the ticket and handed it to me... So yeah, that day I got a fine and a date too».

Ah, of course, it's Vitali. His coworker always had his ways to draw people to him and make them feel comfortable around him: something he would be jealous of, at times. He tried to deny it at first, but he was also affected by his charisma, pulled closer into a silent friendship, despite his efforts to keep a professional relationship.

He met Vitali's gaze and saw his figure, friendly approaching him, one long arm embracing his shoulder. «Hey, Johnson. Everything's ok?».

Aurelius nodded as he gently slid away from him, waiting for Vitali to fill the spot by the door.
He slowly walked to reach Miss D's side and couldn't notice the smug on the blonde's face. «Right, sorry. Did the talk with Miss Allende go well?».

«Yes, everything's fine. She's waiting for you in her office».

«Alright, then I'll get going». Vitali reported to Miss D one last time. «Miss, if there's a problem with security or a concern regarding your safety, you'll always find me at Miss Allende's side. Or you can tell agent Johnson: he's the most reliable in my team».

«I will. Thank you, Vitali».

The blonde man bowed and smiled at her, knocked at the door, waited for Miss Allende's invitation, and disappeared into her office.

Aurelius and Dea were alone. They looked at each other for a brief moment, silent, before the woman spoke. «Let's get going then».

«Yes, ma'am».

And so they walked, Dea leading and Aurelius marching, almost running a few steps behind her. By the direction she was taking – he had studied the map of the entire building – he knew she was leading him to her room on the first floor.

The man was impressed by the splendour of the halls and the abundance of details that told a lot about the mistress of the house. Lushness unique enough to indicate a woman with unusual, luxurious, refined, far from the kitsch taste of the mafia he had seen before.

As he followed her down the corridor, Aurelius observed her strong shoulders and the muscles of her arms tensing with each step and swing of her hips. His eyes followed the lines of her back, slowly curving in a thick hourglass shape rounding on her bottom; she was soft and plump, but also sufficiently muscular to be mistaken for an occasional weightlifter.

«Can you keep up? I can walk slower».

Aurelius blushed as he got caught in a way he despised. Taking his eyes off her, he cleared his throat. «No, it's fine».
