I was walking on the boardwalk, lights flashing, people screaming on the rides, and music blaring from the concert that was going on. This is what the boardwalk looks and sounds like every night here. I'm Y/n Emerson. I live here in Santa Carla, the murder capital of the world. I've live here with my grandpa ever since my dad got remarried a couple of years ago. My dad live about two hours away. So, before my dad got remarried, I would come and spend my summers here with my grandpa and hangout with friends at the beach and boardwalk. It's usually always just been me and my grandpa but tomorrow my aunt Lucy and her two son, Micheal and Sam, my cousins, are coming here to live with us. Lucy had just gotten divorced recently and didn't want to have this big legal battle. So, she decided to move here. Micheal and I are around the same age and Same is three years younger than us. I walked into the comic store that my two friends Edgar and Alan Frog work at. I know for a fact that Sa is going to love this store. I went straight to the Batman comics. Edgar and Alan were on the other side of the shelf, stoking up and putting comics away. "Hey guys, how's business tonight?" I flipped through the comic. "Pretty slow. Besides the surfer nazis coming and messing things up or stealing." Edgar said. "So, what are you up to tonight, Y/N?" Alan asked. "Eh, nothing much. Just walking around looking for David and the guys." I put the comic back on the shelf. I instantly regretted telling them that, here comes a lecture. Edgar and Alan hate The Lost Boys and I mean hate. They think their vampires (which they are but we won't ell them that). " Y/N you shouldn't be hanging out with those guys." Alan said. "How many times do we have to tell you that?" Edgar said. "Yeah, yeah, I know. But you don't actually know them. I've been friends with David for years before the rest of them came around and before I even started being friends with you guys." I said. Edgar opened his mouth to say something but I stopped him. "No. Do not start with how you think their vampires. Vampires are not really you guys. (Yes they are)." I said. "Now I'm going to go look for my other friends. Bye." I said turning and walking out. - David and I became friends a few years ago when I would just stay here for the summers. He was the first friend I had here. My life shattered when I saw that missing poster, up on the bulletin board, with David's picture on it. I hadn't talked to him or seen him for a few days but I just thought he was busy since he did have a summer job. That's when I went back home. My grandpa was out on a date so I was home alone. I went up to my room and my window was wide open. I closed it and went downstairs to get water. I ran back up to my room and saw David there, sitting on my bed. I was so surprised that I dropped my water and the glass shattered on the floor. " Where have you been? I just saw your missing poster on the Boardwalk." I sat down next to him. He looked up at me, he looked awful, like he hadn't slept in days. Thats when he told me everything. About being a vampire, everything. At first I didn't believe him, I thought he had gone crazy. Over the next year he changed Paul, Marko, and Dwayne. I eventually let him convince me, but Star, Laddie, and I aren't full ones yet, not until we've made our first kill. - I started walking further down the Boardwalk. I got my the Merry-go-round and I saw David and the boys on there. They were getting kicked off by the security guard. I don't know how many times they have been kicked off the Boardwalk by the security guard but they just keep coming back. They got off and went over to there bikes. I jogged and caught up to them. They were probably waiting for Star and Laddie. "What's going on, guys?" I asked, standing by Marko. "We got kicked off." Paul said. "Again? What happened this time?" I smiled, and was playing with the pins and stuff on Marko's jacket. It was those damn Surfer Nazis." David said. "Well, what are you guys doing now?" I asked. Then Star and Laddie came over. Star got on with David and Laddie with Dwayne. Going to the Cave. You coming?" Paul asked. "Sure." I hopped on with Marko. We rode off to the cave. When we got there Laddie had fallen asleep. Dwayne carried him in and then handed him to me. David and the boys went off and were talking about going a getting that security guard. Star and I went over to where her and Laddie sleep. I put Laddie into his bed. Star and I got into her bed together and fell asleep.
