"Celia i'm home!" i yelled sitting down on the living room couch. i took a deep breath, processing the previous events.

"some walk huh?" she said sitting a plate of food on the kitchen table for me.

"sorry i took so long. i met the boys you were talking about." i said sitting at the table.

"i know. mary lou told me. she said y'all were having a blast and getting along good." she smiled happily

"yeah. they were pretty cool. me and nick clicked instantly." i said shoving the food in my mouth.

"yeah i thought you would. nick is a sweat heart. what did you think of matt and chris?" she asked sitting across from me at the same table.

"they were cool too. chris is super energetic. matt is more quiet. it's a good blend ya know. and they're all really funny." i said

"matt is kinda like you. quiet. a little reserved. except you're wayyy worse." celia laughed

"oh hushhhh at least i did what you said. i made friends i guess." i lightly chuckled

"yeah. you did hon. i'm proud of you." she said in a more serious tone.

"for what? making friends?" i said with a mouthful of food.

"no. for adjusting. it's not easy to do what you have to do. i'm proud of you. and like i said. we will make it a home here for you okay?" she said grabbing my hand.

"thanks ceilia." i said feeling my heart warm a little.

"now! enough with sappy stuff. did you think any of them were cute. besides nick ofc he's clearly off the table." she said smirking

"i mean they're all cute boys including nick. he may be gay but he's still just as adorable as the other two. it's not like i would ever crush on him knowing his sexuality yk." i said

"yeah you're very right sweet girl." she said

"butttt i think matt was definitely super handsome. in fact i think he's beautiful." i said shyly

"ahhh i knew it. so do you think you have a crush on him?" she asked excitedly

"no. no definitely not. no it's not like that." i said

"well no pressure honey. i just want you to know that i'm here for you if these things do come up." she said

"that's good to know thank you. i think i'm gonna go to bed okay?" i said standing up and putting my plate in the sink

"okay sweet girl. if you need me at ALL, i don't care how late or what it's for, come get me."celia insisted

" i will. thank you for everything." i said and hugged her. i could tell she was shocked at first but she began hugging back tightly.

"goodnight" i said heading upstairs to my room

i changed into sleep clothes, and washed my face. i lied down on my bed and checked my phone.
