"DUSTIN" i screamed which made a small echo through out the house "WHAT" my brother screamed back behind his room door "HURRY UP THEO IS ALREADY HERE" i heard the room door open and saw my brother walk out putting his backpack on swinging it over his shoulder we heard a honk from outside and began to walk out the door "bye kiddos love you" our mother said from the kitchen "love you too" me and dustin both said to her

we walked towards the car and i saw theo who had his head thrown back in annoyance and i opened the passenger door and got in while dustin got in the back "finally dude you take forever" i rolled my eyes "just shut up and drive jerk" he smiled and took off "hey so you have any idea what you want to dress up as for halloween" theo asked i shrugged my shoulders "i don't know you have any ideas" he shook his head "no not really but let's figure it out soon because i heard tina's having a party and i really want to impress her" "god i still can't believe you have a crush on tina she's like ugh" i said scrunching up my nose in disgust

theo glared at me then smiled "well sorry that not all of us can meet you expectations when it come to like someone like the way you like st-" i put my mouth over his hand "dude can you like shut your cake hole my brothers right here" i looked back to see dustin smiling "who's your crush rory" he raised his eyebrows "that's none of your business little brother" theo parked into a space by the school and we got out and dustin started walking toward the middle school "have a good day at school nerd" he waved bye and ran toward mike wheeler theos younger brother

as me and theo were walking to school i saw nancy and steve in his car talking and after a few seconds i saw them kiss and it made my stomach ache "your staring" theo said in a sorta song like tone i quickly snapped back to reality "am not" as we were about to pass by steve car we stopped when a blue sports car drove up with music blasting theo and i stopped in our tracks while nancy and steve got out the car to observe as well then two blonde boys one with a mullet and other with shorter hair got out then appearing from the back seat from the car a little redhead girl who started skating towards the middle school

the boys headed towards the high school one seemed confident in himself maybe overly confident and seemed aggressive he wore all denim with black boots the other wore jeans with a yellow shirt and a black leather jacket and black converse he seemed more gentle also confident but to the point where it seemed less intimidating he pulled over a pair of headphones to his ears from his walkman and put his hands in his pockets "i have official figured out what i want this christmas" i said only meaning for theo to hear but i heard nancy laugh on the right side of me i turned my head and saw her and steve looking in our direction "seriously rory it's only the first day"

"exactly meaning if i don't act fast all the good ones will be gone" she rolled her eyes "mhm" i looked over to steve "hey harrington you look like you got your panties in a knot" he flicked me off "very funny henderson" yes i have a crush on him but i'm not going to let that show so what do i do i constantly talk shit to him and the only reason theo knows is because we got high and i accidentally admitted to him...not my greatest moment i'll admit "hey rory move you ass let's go" theo said a few steps a head of me "we will finish this later harrington" "looking forward to it henderson" he said in a very monotone voice

as we got to the front i saw luna chain her yellow bike to the pole and she spotted me and theo and smiled that beautiful smile we all knew so well she came up to us and hugged me "hello you two anything interesting happen" "we got some new kids" she perked up "really" i nodded "yeah two blonde boys" "oh" she said looking at her feet "everything okay luna" she looked up and nodded "of course let's get to class okay"

i was my physics class which unfortunately i had with steve and who sat directly in front of me which was kind hard to focus especially cause i didn't have a distraction like theo or luna. as i sat there fidgeting with my pencil the door of the classroom got thrown open and slammed shut and there he was the blonde boy the less intimidating one "this must be our new student" the teacher asked and the principal nodded "yup he's all yours" as soon as the principal left the room the boy tried to make his way to a empty seat "woah woah there now why do you tell us a bit about your self"

the boy looked at her like if she just asked him to kill his family but slowly he returned to the spot where he once stood and he spoke "my names milo hargrove and im from california and i just moved here with my dad, step mom, my older brother and younger sister" the teacher smiled and thanked him for sharing and picked a spot for him to sit "you can sit behind rory" my eyes widened "rory will you raise your hand" i slightly raised it and milo made his way to the empty seat behind me "okay everyone back to the lesson" i turned around once the boy was seated "hi im rory henderson" i whispered to him reaching out my hand for him to shake he smiled huh he's actually really cute

he took my hand and shook it "milo hargrove pleasure to meet you" "so California that's cool" he shrugged "i guess the only good part is the beach and the waves" "you surf?" "well i used to me and my brother" "that would be the one with the mullet" he nodded "that would be billy he's a year older than me" "yeah when you guys pulled up earlier i could tell who the more attractive brother" he smiled dropped a little "oh yeah billy gets that a lot-" i cut him off "i meant you dingus" he smiled grew wider "oh yeah of course i know that i was just messing with you" i smiled at him

"ms.henderson maybe if i put mr.hargrove up here you might be able to focus a little better" my head turned to her "oh-uh i was just-never mind" i said giving up trying to find an excuse and then she turned and continued the lesson once we got out of class me and milo were walking together towards his locker which was close to mine "so do you have anywhere to sit at lunch" he shook his head "nope your the first person i've talked to since i got here" "oh cool then you can sit with me and my friends if you want"

he paused "look no offense but i don't really roll with jocks and cheerleaders" i laughed "well i sure hope not" he was confused then i realized "oh you thought-no no no trust me i am not apart of that group im friends with some of those people but i don't sit with them i sit with my friends theo and luna" and speak of the devil as soon as their names left my mouth they appeared in the hallway of students leaning against my locker "come on" i grabbed his hand and brought him quickly to my friends

"guys this is milo hargrove he's a new kids" luna smiled "hi im luna hopper lovely to meet you i love your eyes their blue like the ocean" she spoke in her soft voice "thank you madam and you have a very beautiful face" she smiled and tilted her head down "thank you" then his attention turned to theo who studied him theo wasn't the most trusting person i'll have to admit but by my surprise he reached his hand out "theo wheeler" milo shook it "nice to meet you rory's told me about you two" luna looked at me and smiled "aw you talk about us rory" i scoffed "shut up luna" i heard a squeal come from across and down the hall and saw steve with nancy that feeling in my stomach appears again....jealousy "earth to rory" i looked back and saw all three of them looking at me "sorry what where you guys saying"

i was sitting in my room sewing on the patches for dustin ghostbuster costume and i was also thinking about what to be for halloween as well luna was going to go as alice from alice in wonderland which i thought was so cute for her you know what i know exactly what to be after patching all the stuff needed on dustins costume i started working on mine,theos and milo's

i was taking a break from the constant stabbing my hands with the needles and decided to take out the trash and i saw dustin just standing there "hey moron what are you doing" he turned his head to me "uh nothing just thought i heard something weird" "and you stop to figure out the sound was god you would not last in a horror movie that's for sure" i threw the garbage away and went to dustin and threw my arm over his shoulder "your costumes all done" he smiled wide "really" i nodded "oh that's so sick thanks rory your the best" i smiled "anytime"
