the constant flash of the camera looked like it was so close to blinding dustin "aww honey you look so cute ah" i smiled my mom and brother looked so happy which made me happy i heard a honk outside "dustin come on" "uh actually i'm going to bike there so i can bike with mike and lucas after school" i nodded "oh okay i'll see you then love you mom have a good day at school dustin" i walked up to the car and got in "so i figured out our costume plan" he nodded "okay let's hear it" "horror film characters you'll be Freddy Krueger and milo will be Jason Voorhees"

i smiled "im glad you asked" i stared to do a drum roll on the dash board of his car "i am going to be carrie" he smiled "blood and all" i nodded "blood and all baby" he laughed "alright but we won't have to put anything on my face right just the sweater and stuff cause i cant cover the chick magnet" i cringed "literally never say that again or i will beat you with my shoe" he laughed about it and we pulled up to the school

i saw milo and luna walking together luna was doing that weird thing with her hands while she talked meaning she was probably talking about how we should protect the earth and all that peace and love stuff but milo just looked at her nodding not really understanding but he looked like he was trying to "im telling you milo if we got rid of all the plastic in the ocean the world would be a better place" i heard luna finishing up her sentence

"hey guys" luna walked up to my side and put her arm around me making me out my arm around her waist "so i got my costume already for the party tonight im going as an angel which make seem basic and im on a mission tonight, how about you two" i smiled "yup i'm going full carrie and theo is going freddy and milo if your up for it you can jason with us" he smiled and looked so happy by a simple question and nodded "yeah i'd love it" "i don't think you really had to choice rory can be a bit stubborn in getting what she wants" theo followed

i was back in physics class with milo again and we weren't really paying attention because of our constant softly laughing and talking "now i will be setting you and a partner up for your project" she read off her clipboard "milo and tina" the names make me fall in utter despair if milo wasn't my partner who would be he's the only one i talk to i felt my stomach turn and my chest became heavy...i should've just skipped "rory and steve" oh god someone shoot me now steve turned to me and smile no no no don't smile at me like that you idiot

"what!? don't you think i can have a different problem please or perhaps work alone" his smiled dropped and the teacher sighed and looked at me "rory you're going to work with mr.harrington or i could give you a zero now but that will drop you grade from an A to a C and if you want to get into any ivy league i suggest you suck it up and work with him" i sighed and looked at steve who was looking at me and mumbled "let's just meet at my place after school so we can get started i don't feel like working with you either henderson" i felt a pain in my heart but that's what i deserve
