Jessie and reader are dating but what happens when the reader get an offer she can't resist.
Jessie and I were enjoying our time out with the team we were at a restaurant I was sitting with Jessie on my right and Beth on my left. Beth was my older sister we were 5 years a part. Which made it so I was younger then jessie by a year which she made it a mission to bring it up any time she could which was funny because my sister was always quick to tell her something. When me and Jessie first started dating my sister was always trying to scare off Jessie which was funny because no matter how hard she tried Jessie ended up staying with me and Beth was okay with that seeing as I was always third wheeling with her and her girlfriend.
Y/N wanted to win at the end of this season so she can leave on a happy note. She didn't want to leave with a loss she wanted to show that her heart will always be at Chelsea. Chelsea was her home for many years since she was 16 years old. She had gotten too comfortable at Chelsea she needed a knew challenge and with that she knew her time at Chelsea was coming to an end she just didn't want to say it till after the final.
With the final approaching sooner than she thought it would she knew she was going to have to tell the team that this was her last game with Chelsea it was all coming to an end.
The final vs Man City
It was always a tough game between the two clubs but this was it for y/n. would she got out on a high or will it all go to shit all the hard work she had put in. The game started off strong with both teams trying to be in control of the game but City had seemed to be wanting it more. That had a few good opportunities that they just couldn't seem to give Chelsea a chance to breath.
It was now half and City was up by 1 and that left a very frustrated y/n Jessie had tried to clam her down but failed. Y/n wasn't one to give up she pushed herself even when odds were against her but it had seemed like City was just wanting to injury her and she knew from the look of her mangers face she was going to tell Emma to pull her out. Which pissed her off even more.
Walking out of the locker room Jessie went to catch up with her and put her arm around y/n waist so that they were now walking at the same speed.
"You need to relax we got this we just had a rough start we will recover" Jessie said
"I know I just really want to win we have worked to hard to lose" y/n said
"and we will win just breath love" Jessie said giving y/n a quick kiss on her forehead and running off to the field.
The game was quick to start and Chelsea seem to have a hold on it they were getting more and more opportunities Beth had the ball and was quick to look for her sister who was running in Beth sends the ball over and y/n is there with a header to get the equalizer. Y/n didn't celebrate she got the ball out of the goal and ran back to the half field and the play started again.
Y/n had the ball taking into the box when Lucy slide studs up and caught y/n ankle which made her yell in pain and fall to the floor. the ref gave Lucy a yellow well they called medic on for y/n to see if she kept playing Beth and Jessie never left her side both told y/n that she should get subbed off but y/n being stubborn didn't get off and got up and got the ball.
She would take the free kick even if her ankle was throbbing pain she knew that she had to score this it was there last opportunity the game would end after this play and she didn't want to go into extra time. She set herself up how she practiced and with a deep breath she looked at the goal one more time before taking a deep breath and shooting top left the goalie threw herself but missed it completely.
In that moment y/n took off running towards Emma she knew that the maker from Chelsea was sad to know that y/n would be leaving the club after so long of playing for them but she also knew the kid had so much talent and that she needed to challenge herself.
The final whistle blew and y/n fell to her knees with tears in her eyes she just stayed down not getting up just laying there. Too many people it looked like she had just lost but to her she knew she wouldn't play in the Kingsmeadow stadium for a very longtime.
Emma was quick to make her way to the kid and pick her up and she just held her the thing with Emma she wasn't like most mangers she was carrying she wanted the best for her players and she knew the best wasn't at Chelsea anymore and she had come to terms with it even if it made her sad.
"Its time to tell them kid" Emma said after sometime and all y/n could do was shake her head and start heading towards her teammates.
They had already lifted the trophy they were now headed towards the locker room to keep partying.
''Hey guys before you guys continue to party I would like to say something this season has been everything I have dreamed of we finished at the top and we won the FA cup and as many of you know I played here since I've been 16 which is 8 years in those 8 years you guys have become my family but my time here at Chelsea has come to an end just like every good thing must come to this was my last game" y/n said with tears in her eyes
"So we don't even get a heads up just like you win and you leave how selfish of you" Beth was the first to speak
"I need more challenges in my football career I will come back when the time is right but as of right now I leave" y/n said
'"That's why you were worried that's why you wanted to win not because we had a good season but because you wanted to go out on a high"Jessie said she was mad which y/n knew she would be.
" We are done y/n you hear me" Jessie said all y/n could do was nod
"I wish you guys the best from here on out" y/n said many player came to hug her and tell her they understood why she was leaving.
And with that y/n cleaned out her locker and put her stuff in her car and drove home. When she arrived home she took her suitcases and put them in her car she wasn't leaving today but she knew that Jessie wouldn't want to see her. It hurt her but she knew she was doing the right thing for her career. Y/n blocked Jessie on everything knowing it was for the best.
Jessie had tried calling her she knew she had messed up but it was too late y/n was gone and soon everyone knew that y/n had signed for FC Barcelona and Jessie could only hope they would cross paths again.
